Player of the Season After Suarez
Suarez is obviously our player of the season, I don't think that can be argued about at all.
Which three players would you raise to the podium for Suarez to hand them the Gold, Silver and Bronze Suarez's Seal of Approval? Give reasoning for your choices if you're feeling like it.
Gold - Martin Skrtel
He has been just immense. The one CB who has been a regular throughout the season while the other three have been rotating in and out. He had scored seven PL goals in his career before this season and this season he has doubled that figure. Has been a rock in defense, too, if you ask me, and comfortable passing the ball around there. A huge season from the beautiful baldie.
Silver - Steven Gerrard
That slip There's the danger that it will remain a nasty little detail on what's been a tremendous individual season. He's made that holding midfielder role his own. His passing range and vision are just made for it. His age nowadays is made for it. And he can tackle, too, get down and dirty. And he has excelled in that role, complimented perfectly the young, energetic players who are playing in front of him. I can see Gerrard playing in his new role for at least two more years as a starter. I couldn't see that in a more advanced role, the guy's turning 34 this month after all. And he's had a hell of a season.
Bronze - Daniel Sturridge
20 goals (with two games to go) and you could call this the proper breakout season for Sturridge. What highlights his consistency is that in only two games he has scored more than one goal, two. Meaning that he has scored in 18 of his 27 Premiership appearances this season. To put that in perspective, Suarez has scored in 17 of his 31 Premiership games this season in spite of having ten more goals than Daniel. Wowzers!
The fact that Henderson, Sterling and Coutinho didn't make my top-3-after-suarez list promises good things for next season. What's your top-3?

Man, I don't know how you can put Henderson and Sterling above Skrtel. The bald & bold man has been massive for us. Solid in defense, fending off the competition from the other three CBs with fine quality, and seven goals from a CB is just an astronomical figure. Henderson and Sterling have been fantastic, but Skrtel's goals mean he has gone beyond call of duty this season.

This list is confusing, man!
Flanagan has filled his boots just fine, but I wouldn't call him awesome. Some kind of order would also be nice!

Re: Player of the Season After Suarez
Daniel Andre Sturridge: Those deft controls to get past the keeper and cheeky flicks into the net are so Latino. He is speedy, strong on the ball, good in the air and lethal with left-foot. He chooses to shoot from positions he is unlikely to score, with 1 or even 2 players better positioned to score, and the shots are rarely on target.
Jonathon Patrick Flanagan: Yes he isn’t great going forward and still needs improvements in his defending, but who am I kidding! Composed and consistent, he is perhaps that ‘jack up the sleeve’ who ensured our amazing title challenge.
Jordan Brian Henderson: In August 2012, he was supposed to leave for, wait for it, Fulham. Fast forward 20 months, and Henderson ensured our pretentious Champions League aspiration turns into definitive title challenge.
Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz: Even in the dying minutes, with his team in cruise control, he chases every loose ball like the result depends on it. He represents this NEW Liverpool, reborn with a vengeance.
Martin Škrtel: The thug at the back started the season amid a lot of uncertainty and ending it with few questions remaining to be answered. In true ‘keep your enemies closer’ fashion, he throws an arm around the opposition players during set-pieces.
Philippe Coutinho Correia: Perhaps had an underwhelming season, so far. But that’s only because he set his standards so high. Relentless in harassing to win the ball and sleek passing to open-up the defense, he gives the ‘butterflies in the stomach’ before the dread from SAS.
Raheem Shaquille Sterling: Oh, how long have I waited for a fleet-footed winger like him!!! Don’t let that shy smile deceive you, imagine how much he can improve. Imagine the terror that awaits for teams on the isle and beyond. Imagine the age of dread he can usher.
Steven George Gerrard: Captain Fantastic.

I also remember some very very bad mistakes and performances from Martin this season.

Re: Player of the Season After Suarez
I'll probably go with Sturridge, Henderson and Sterling is no order.
Sterling because he's the only really one that's been the most consistent. The only "bad" game he had was at Hull where he wasn't that bad, it was the whole general performance from the team and he was made as a scapegoat unfortunately.
Henderson, he's been very consistent too. And by very consistent, I mean from the very set go. I do still want him to get more composure in front of goals, it's the only real thing he's been lacking from his game.
Sturridge. Well, 20 goals is simply great. He's been very cold lately, but he's been very very good this season. Proved me wrong too, so I had to give it to him before the others.
I don't know, Skrtel has had a good season, our best defender too, but he's made some silly silly mistakes where some have been costly. He's not the only one, though. Gerrard was another that started the season poorly, but that was definitely because of tactical reasons. Coutinho has been hot and cold this season aswell too... but they've been good too.

Re: Player of the Season After Suarez
I don't remember too many bad mistakes from Skrtel and defenders easily get too much criticism for their mistakes, because they often result in dangerous situations or even conceding goals, but the fact is that everybody make mistakes, you can just afford them much better in midfield and attack. But, for me, Skrtel hasn't made that many mistakes that it should be held against him, you could put any of our players at CB and they would make mistakes. To err is human.

I feel like Suarez and Stevie have an interesting bond.
For me Henderson is not our best player but he was the most important, so him.

Stevie had a crazy bromance with Alonso and Torres as well. Luisito has filled the void, genuine love

Part of it might be just friendship chemistry, but I think part of it is also Stevie being a smart captain and trying to befriend the best player(s) in the team to make them feel happy at the club and more likely to stay.
