I would be worried about Crystal Palace, however.

Re: I've never supported Everton
As long as Everton win their match, we can even draw Palace. That would bring Chelsea back into the race as they would be on equal points with us.
imagine if Mou loses the league on GD
or we could lose it on GD
Everton hold so many cards ffs

Nah we play before Everton right?
So if we beat WBA they practically have nothing to play for anymore and they certainly wouldn't want the Liverpool lot to win the title...
So I'm sorry Blackmore.

What do Everton players have to do with Everton fans? Absolutely nothing. They will give their best to beat City, it's their job, they are paid for it.

Re: I've never supported Everton
Everton are a proud football club and Martinez is a total gentleman. Thankfully, they'll play BEFORE Arsenal as well.
Not that it makes a difference. If they lose, they could lose their EL spot to Spurs/Man Utd even. So they need at least a point to guarantee European football for the first time in half a decade.
If they lose, it'll be because of City's quality, not Everton throwing the game.
IN EVERTON, WE TRUST.

Don't we win the title in that scenario since we won the head 2 head match ups? Or is it decided by GD?

Re: I've never supported Everton
^ in PL, it's GD and not H-2-H.
The only way you'll win the league is if both City and us lose to Everton and Palace this weekend, and you win all your remaining 2 games.
I can't see us not taking advantage if City slip up earlier...it'd be like a lifeline. I like it a lot better when we play last...shame we played earlier than City this week. You could see how pumped up City players were after hearing the result of LFC-CFC game...if they played earlier and before, they would have been a lot more nervous.
However, I still wouldn't be surprised at us winning the league on GD, as It's possible that we beat Newcastle by 20 odd goals on the last day.
They are by far the worst team in the 92 teams of the English divisions at the moment.
Having thought of that, Everton may be deflated and it ends up being a walk in the park.
Then there is Aston Villa who usually has one good game every 2 months, and it's almost due.
I just hope in any case, we take it to the last day (means beating Palace). Last day is always a funny case. You never know. Imagine a last minute West ham equalizer as Joe Cole feed Downing on the wing, as he crosses it to Carroll who smashes the ball home to ruin and spoil City's title and send the trophy to Anfield. Kevin Nolan starts doing the chicken dance in front of Joe Hart and Fat Sam runs around showing middle finger to West Ham fans.
Just take it to the last day and last second, and I'll be proud of my team.

Not trying to call Blackmore out, yet I am sure to the closest tenth that he is/was a supporter of Chelsea alongside Barcelona.

I am southernman as most of you know and I love and support Barcelona. Now, I would be stupid not to cheer Liverpool this year in the EPL being a neutral anti Manchester fan..

Re: I've never supported Everton
The amount of concern over another poster's supported team(s) is beginning to border on obsession and definitely falls into the "massively hypocritical" realm at this point.

If 13% chance is counted as "very possible" in your deluded world in Cuba, so be it.
If City drop points, we'll just go and bulldoze Palace with all the positive vibe and feelings in the world ffs
