Chelsea
What a choke job.
Couldn't even beat a bunch of South London chavs.
The little team in Fulham.

You ain't won the league and it's going to be a decade this year.
Yeah, it's more than just a striker problem.

Re: Chelsea
what happened to Willian actually? I thought some of Chelsea's best games were with him - why wasn't he playing?

Re: Chelsea
Because Mou is a *bleep* tit when it comes with rotation etc, he was probably resting him for PSG even though he was suspended for the last game. Baffles me really I knew we were in trouble when I saw 433 anyways.

Re: Chelsea
I just think it's strange because I thought the trio of Willian, Hazard and Oscar were really clicking at one point and actually playing some pretty good football, and now Willian has been left out of a few games, right?

Re: Chelsea
Indeed we do play well when Willian plays although Schurrle offers something different, with clever runs in behind where as Willian is more of a #10 play maker who comes short, he was suspended the last game and didn't start today that's all he's really missed, think there was a game a couple of weeks ago where he didn't start either but mainly a starter.
Unless he's fallen out with Mou, I would expect him to start vs PSG. I think Mou wanted to rest Oscar today in which case Willian should have taken his spot and not Lampard, but these are the small things that will cost us.

Re: Chelsea
Chelsea do well against big team because they can park the bus especially in UCL. if they do it against small team like crystal palace whole world will laugh.
I always thought Chelsea have small team mentality. Mourinho suits them perfect.
I don't follow them in EPL so i don't know how they play there.

Re: Chelsea
Schürrle is a great counter player, strong finish etc., Willian I thought was the player that made your midfield play gel, the only playmaker you have, really.
Against smaller club where you have to play (which of course is not a role Mou revels in) he would sure be a more useful choice?
but well, it's hindsight knowledge of course

Re: Chelsea
Yup he would have unfortunately Mou doesn't share our thoughts otherwise Chelsea would have probably won this game.
I consider Oscar and Hazard play makers as well but all different types, but no doubt in my mind if Oscar was intended to be rested then Willian should have started..

Re: Chelsea
Why not try Schurrle at CF? Granted I haven't seen much of him but when I have it seems he would do better up front. He makes great runs and has pretty good finishing. He'd do a lot better than the other Chelsea forwards.

Why are relegation teams worried about title chasing ones ?
Mind your own business and as Ole would say, don't care .

Re: Chelsea
Excessive irony anyway
There are no easy matches in EPL, expecially if you must play against Tony Pulis at his stadium. I don't think anyone believed Chelsea would have walked today . I image a mangy match for them
Or as forgetting the Aston Villa who took away points to City,Liverpool,Chelsea and Arsenal
Or Stoke City who took away points to City,Arsenal,Everton,Chelsea ...
the scrub clubs rose to the situation against top clubs this year. Just to testity the balance of this EPL.
Even Fulham (awful this year) was getting a tie against Liverpool to 90' at Craven Cottage before of Gerrard's penalty kick
It's the Premier League
The regrets of Chelsea are amplified for the record against the " top 3"
6 points against City
4 points against Arsenal
3 points against Liverpool (they must play at Anfield)
but then 0 points against Palace and Villa.
the absence of a CF is especially noticeable against the closed defences when it is needed the paw of the great striker
tbh I don't understand how Mourinho, a coach excessively careful to details understimated the absence of CF, preferring to spend money for Willian. Probably he counted to awaken Torres, because even a Torres to 70% is a great striker but it didn't work.
And if even Mourinho ( for me the best coach about the mental aspect ) didn't awake , it 's really finished.
Just hoping we won't sign him this summer, we aren't never relegated and I would like to keep this record.

Willian was an Abramovich signing, same as Eto'o. Probably laundering money for his russian friend in Anzhi.
