Its not like Durant and Westbrook have been dominating in the first 3 games either. Not sure they're both suddenly going to turn on the switch and start dominating Memphis' defense. Not that easy.

You may want Memphis to win it in 6 but you surely can't believe Memphis will win next two games on the trot lol?

If Memphis win it will go to 7 games but i doubt they will.

Game 1 they both dominated. Durant had 33, 8 and 7. Westbrook 23 and 10

Tony Allen has been great defending Durant but still a lot of the shots Durant was missing in game 4 were shots he normally makes.

He's going to bounce back in game 5 imo.

I'm more concerned with Westbrook and why he feels the need to take 7 threes every game. 0-5, 1-7, 4-13, 1-6.

Melo going to them is one step forward two steps back. They won't have any cap space for the forseeable future to bring anyone else in.. He'd be jumping from a one year anchor in Amar'es contract to a 3 year one with Rose. He'll have to do more to carry the bulls offense than he did on the knicks lmao

Even if Rose gets injured again its still clearly a step up.

Due to Thib's coaching and the brilliant defense, hell they had one of the best records in the league January onwards with DJ f*cking Augustin as their main offensive option.

They would need Rose to be at an all star level and healthy to be a championship team though.

Im not so sure if its even if rose gets injured again, but even if he's not what can you really even expect. Out two entire seasons practically. He's heading into Greg Oden territory.

If Melo learned anything in NY, it should be you can't win a championship playing on a team with a guy who gets paid 20m dollars who doesn't even play.. Or when he does, doesn't really contribute.

If he wants to leave then he should try and force a sign and trade with the rockets or something. Him being on the bulls doesn't turn them into a contender and they won't be in the position to add around him any time soon either.

Its sucks to have to wait, but the knicks can add two max players in addition to him in 2015. The bulls are only really a better situation in 2014. After that they are going to have the same exact problem the knicks had and find it really hard to make any real upgrades and have to make due with small moves hoping for the best.

I won't really care though if he does leave. I trust PJ to do a proper rebuild. Tired of all the half way rebuilds.

Its not really the same situation though for a bunch of reasons.

For starters Chicago's team would be balanced, unlike the clusterf*ck which the Knicks have built around Melo with 5 starters apart from Chandler who want to shoot lol.

Secondly New York was always near the back of the pack in terms of defensive efficiency, not the case in Chicago. And lastly but my no means least they have a top 5 coach in the league lol.

The only comparison is they won't be able to add much afterwards but in theory they shouldn't need to, i also fail to really see how Houston would be in a better position....

McHale is a crappy coach, they play no defense what so ever and quite frankly the way the organization wants them to play is not conclusive to winning championships.

Portland - Rockets is the best first round series since Boston - Chicago.

I absolutely love Lillard.

Has such poise for such a young player, you wouldn't think its first ever playoff series and his 2nd NBA season.

He's showing great leadership already, great example how staying at College can have such great benefits. Not for everyone of course but for some people and Lillard is a prime example of how it can help greatly. One of the things i really like about him is even when he's not shooting well, he finds other ways to impact the game to help his team mates.

That's been the biggest difference between the teams in this series IMO, Portland are a lot more balanced than Houston. Even when Aldridge was going off like mad it wasn't taking anything away from the flow of their offence and you always had others contributing. With Houston when Howard is the focus of the offense the rest are doing f*ck all and it looks stagnate same goes when Harden is the focus.

First two games he had 45 points on 47 shots. After three, 82 on 82
