Who would you rather face at quarters?
Re: CL quarters, who do you prefer?
Atletico it is. I think we can do it, albeit not comfortably. Does this mean we face the winner of RM/Dortmund on the semis or will there be a separate draw for that?

There will be separate draw for Semi Final.

Why can't there be a draw for everything at once... do they really get so much revenue from these events to make it worth it to hold separate ones?
Either way not like any of RM/Chelsea/Bayern would be easy in semis.

I don't know. They change it last year. Before it use to be all KO draw at once.

After the hammering Real gave them in la Copa, I'm surprised they would still rather face them than us.

They haven't beaten us since 2010, so not surprised and in most cases we get the best of them over two legs and our style of play is the worst to come across for them. As far as Bayern goes, I think some fans just voted them for the heck of it, as they did lose to Bayern back in the 74 European Cup final.

Re: CL quarters, who do you prefer?
To be fair, other than a couple of results here and there quite a while ago, we've made a habit out of beating Atletico Madrid. Then again, this season has been a bit different. But even this season, by far their best in recent memory, they haven't been able to beat us.

Re: CL quarters, who do you prefer?
Last time we played them we had both Messi and Neymar on the bench and Iniesta got injured.
The key to unlocking Atleti is wingplay as they will lock down the middle as usual. Iniesta, Alba and Neymar on the left and Messi and Alves working the right flank should do the trick.
I also like that we have the first leg at home. Usually we have the first leg away from home where we are way too tentative and try to play it safe and not concede, we concede anyway, opponent is shutting down 10 men behind ball and we have to rectify the mistake in Camp Nou. Now we will kill the tie in the first leg already without the "meh, we have a second home leg, no need to risk anything now" mindset, no doubt about it.
