Liverpool was the only bad move. City had his father-figure Mancini, who had already managed him and gave him his debut. Then Milan was his dream club he was always a fan of. Finally Nice seems to be the perfect environment for him at the moment. This is not Raiola's fault, its Balotelli's fault plus bad luck with injuries. The conditions to succeed were always there.

Always felt like a move to a lesser known club would have done him a world of good. A place where his eccentricities would be kept in check and where him having a bad or good match won't be plastered everywhere.

The english media was on his back as soon as he got to City though. It was a bad move in that he was in a hostile place where they were just waiting for him to blow it. He seemed unhappy back in Italy too tbh. Thats why I said, at this point, he's the happiest I have ever seen him. Although I have only seen parts of him during his second spell in Italy.

Balotelli's attitude is one thing, but what about the attitude of this guy who talk bad about a teammate to the media for no reason?
If you're unhappy with a teammate, talk to him or the coach. What is he doing telling stuff to the media after a game Balotelli didn't even play in?

This is completely unnacceptable behaviour tbh.

What I'm more impressed with is his attitude on the pitch which is very different from what I have seen from him in the past. He's running off the ball to get in goalscoring positions which is pretty terrifying when combined with his talent.

His season hasn't been unreal lol. He started out hot than almost got kicked off the team for not working hard enough about a month ago... Favre went public with the ultimatum.

There's a reason he's only started 18 out of 35 Ligue 1 games for Nice.

Damn lucky that Plea got season ending injury or he would have been gone.

Everyone scores for Nice because they have very talented midfielders and fullbacks. Seri is the one pulling the strings on that attack.

Balo has scored some great goals... but same problem as always. You can't count on him for a season. Nice didn't need to as they have good attacking talent.

I can't believe Balotelli actually played a part in potentially stopping PSG from a league title.

I'm still too disappointed of Balotelli to believe in him too much but he had a solid season it seems. If whoscored is not lying he is top scorer at Nice with less minutes than some others.

I wonder what Ventura will do, he could be a good option to have on the bench.

Saw the goal today in a highlight show. Great shot as always. From whoscored, 3 goals in 180 min of L1 plus 2 more goals in european comps so far.

The only quality Italy striker out there who managed to did something impressing in Italy only good tournament since 2006 World Cup wasn't even called up in whole qualifiers. I'd have Balotelli in that Italy team 10 times out of 10 ahead of these whole bunch of scrubs, Immobile, Gabbiadini etc Balotelli would have scored the winner tonight.

For a whole season it is better Immobile, for a single important match it is better Balotelli. Even because Immobile is a pussy.
But we know the reason why he was boycotted from Ventura : the senators (buffon bonucci barzagli chiellini de rossi ) did not want it and Ventura was just a muppet

Balotelli would have 100% been suspended for the second leg. Getting elbowed all day in the first leg would have made him lose it. Its good that he has been away from the NT. Maybe now that a new cycle is starting he could get back in if he grows up and becomes reliable.

I feel like the strikers weren't really an issue, its chance creation but I'm with robes, Balotelli has always been decisive in big moments
