He's less awful than Amelia at least.

Agazzi's actually not that bad. Wanted him for Roma when he was still at Cagliari. A solid, if unspectacular option.

Solid but unspectacular is indeed the best description of Agazzi. It's disappointing in the context of a longer search to replace Abbiati which such a move surely postpones. Agazzi is much like Storari in that he represents a dependable option that provides a secure head at the back for the majority of a club's matches during a season, each of which are not crucial on an individual basis. One however would never want to rely upon them to save the team come crunch time in a big match.

He won't typically cost you a match but he's certainly not going to keep you in one barring the odd performance a la every keeper in the World against a big club from time to time
