Ade has gone on strike
Against Man City.
Why would he do that? They don't want him and now they don't have to pay him either.
Son of Togo is an interesting dude.

Re: Ade has gone on strike
I think it was because Mancini refused to let him go at City, so he could join Madrid..Idunnnooloool.

Re: Ade has gone on strike
Adebayor is the type of CF we need but I would prefer someone else. Drogba on the cheap, if Falcao goes to Chelsea would be great! Other Fernando Llorente.
I think most of us here like/rate Ade but we weren't impressed enough to want him to stay. Ade has severe consistency issues.
For me Drogba is the perfect fit, because of his age he will probably accept a bench role to be back with Mou and he would be explosive when given 30mins or less at the end of a game.
C'mon Chelsea, please sign Falcao!!!!

Adebayor is the last person we need on our team. What happens when he turns on us too?

Did you forget Torres? Neither Falcao or Torres will accept full time sub role.Giovanni10 wrote:Adebayor is the type of CF we need but I would prefer someone else. Drogba on the cheap, if Falcao goes to Chelsea would be great! Other Fernando Llorente.

Like it or not but Adebayor will be here before the end of the summer as long as City lowers their asking price. There are no other obstacles. At least Ade doesn't mind to be a sub which means no big tantrums over playing time.

Re: Ade has gone on strike
Remember now... Ade needs to be 'LOVED' to thrive, thats a big ask for the Bernabeu faithful- you have to be pretty amazing to be appreciated the fans who turn out to our home games. There was even a time where the Brazilian Ronaldo said he wasn't feeling the love at home games. Ade my son, its best you stay put in England.
Re: Ade has gone on strike
we do not need to add another striker that will spend most of his time on the bench. we are already planning to add Neymar and it looks bad enough.
morata can play between the castillas and the first team.
i would much rather replace benzema with kun, than add falcao or llorente etc...
but then again, too many forwards.

it looks really retarded what he is doing. There is 0 need for a new striker. it's because of things like this, that i fear we will see coentrao and marcelo competing as LB. really stupid.

Re: Ade has gone on strike
No no no! I'm a confessed Fancelo, I'm going to lose my cool if I see Coentrao preferred to Marcelo and the Afro-clad Brazilian is benched! Lets all try to REMAIN calm....!!!
Re: Ade has gone on strike
hmm.. his angle is to be sold cheaply?

Re: Ade has gone on strike
Ade isn't the best guy but the dude has a good heart. Yes before he was very arrogant but inside the dude has a soft spot. He should come as a 3rd striker imo if morata ain't coming.

Re: Ade has gone on strike
I honestly don't mind if Ade or anyone else is our third choice striker, as long as Benzema and Higuain are the first 2

Re: Ade has gone on strike
No attack to Adebayor but when he express his love for Madrid i suddenly remember this quote.
"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it"
I just feel he's one of the kind of players who only play football to make himself wealthy.
