Earphone Dilemma Empty Earphone Dilemma

I'm looking for a good pair of noise isolating earphones that'll work with android. I'm not very good at this stuff; I usually use the one they send with the phone  Embarassed 

Price isn't an issue so if you guys have any recommendations I'd appreciate it.

Bonus question: My laptop has separate ports for audio and mic so would I need to get one of those converter jacks with two male one female ports to make sure I can use it for skyping as well?
