Suarez was using Arsenal and was waiting for Madrid to come and get him but there was no interest. He was never going to join us, now he knows Madrid has no interest in him he signed a huge pay day.

1. There is no madrid release clause. The release clause is for ANY TEAM that's NOT based in England.
2. The release clause can be activated by any team (again not based in England) if we fail to make the top 4. I don't think the release clause can be activated IF Liverpool make the CL though.

Madrid fans getting ahead of themselves.

And the buy-out clause is not "around 50m". I won't be surprised if it's double that.

I believe Suarez will turn down any team that activates his release clause that is not Madrid, I remember him saying its hard to turn down Madrid.

As long as Liverpool make CL he will stay at Liverpool and he might forget about Madrid. With Bale and Ronaldo there is no place for him and he knows it.

Go back to his time under Dalglish and I think it was somewhere around 10%!

you dont know anything, sthap, actually no one knows the details of his contract.

It was smart for them to set it lower if they don't finish top four this year and only non English sides. Surprised more contracts aren't set up like that. Its a win win for Suarez and pool

if that's true, and that's a big if, then it's only a win for liverpool. Madrid aint gonna pay another fee like bale's for him.
