Wasn't he pressured into it by the people who owned his rights or something?

He wasn't pressured he did it for financial reason and his family... he was expecting a new child. Monaco doesn't have all the postgame media requirements that other good teams do... he gets to play football and then go home to his family on the French Riviera. Very smart guy tbh.

It's a Top 5 European League so yeah it's a major League. PL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga & Ligue 1.

Some of the best players in the past 20 years have come from there as well so it doesn't lack the talent either.

Update: According to Cadena Ser, Falcao has decided to leave Monaco in the summer. They claim, the information they have is that he feels deceived by the "mega project" and is lacking motivation playing for Monaco in Ligue 1. Real Madrid is his preference but Mourinho is pushing to sign him aswell. Cadena Ser say he has a €90 million release clause in his current contract.

He is stuck there. There is a small chance that either Madrid or Chelsea will pay that but I seriously doubt lol.

Yeah... €90 mil and he's yours. TBH, he's struggling in Ligue 1. It's a physical league and he's getting bullied. He only scored 1 goal in his last 5 L1 games and managed only 14 shots total.

Not sure if he can do well in physical leagues. He can be moved out of position a bit too easily, which is surprsing to me.
