Re: - Il Polpo Paul | Paul Pogba
The money is there to sign quality if we get rid of pogba we have the adidas money kicking in and we will surely qualify for the champions league next season. my worry is investing all of our time and money in zaza, perayra and berardi that will not take us to the next level we need 2-3 superstars for that.

That's what I think too. Let's be realistic here if we sell pogba we can get say witsel at his replacement, isco firmino or mkhitaryn plus jovetic and a left back. But i think instead we will get berardi, zaza, perayra and pay other installment fees plus maybe 1 top player only and call it a " revolution " and a " youth project". we will then have to rely on unproven players like coman and berardi to mature into top footballers almost immediately. That is a scary thought because it's looking like a possibility

Re: - Il Polpo Paul | Paul Pogba
Isco is a pipe dream... he's a starter at Madrid. He's spanish, a star at Madrid and you want him to leave for Serie A? If he were to go, it would be to the EPL. More money and a better league.
Need to focus guys who would be taking a step up by coming to Juve without having to leave money on the table.
Regarding Falcao... the rumor that he was close to Juve was completely rubbished by Mendes. He said that contact was made but that it went nowhere because neither the fee nor the wages were near enough. After Man U, he said Valencia (new billionaire owner) and Arsenal were the options in that order based on the monetary terms offered. Monaco would not have let him go to Juve because the fee was low AND Juve wanted Monaco to carry 40% of his wage.
What would i do with 100 mil?
- De Bruyne of Wolfsburg
- Lacazette of Lyon
- Laporte of Bilbao
- Oliver Torres (Atleti)
- Ruben Pardo (Real Sociedad)
You may not compete for CL immediately. But the upside is huge AND you've diversified your risk + It could become a golden team.

not sure why anyone takes sportszcy seriously, when he's basically camped here indirectly telling us Juve is a poverty club and no player in a top team would want to join us but we should aim for lower league players
you guys give him more grass to graze....
anyway why is there heated Pogba debate? so far there's nothing concrete the player even wants to leave except the rumblings of his retarded fat man agent who also was the agent of Nedved (am sure he would have whored Nedved out to the whole world had Juve not being like top 2 back then), but in the end it was up to Nedved, am sure if we show Pogba we have a legit transfer policy of getting back to the top, Pogba will want to stay, the decision all rests with retarded Marotta to open the purse and fkn spend..... or we just replace Beppe with someone who is known to build CL worthy teams not Zazas, Perreyras and cos, Marotta is not a CL builder, we should just give him a compensation and get a new transfer director that will not make us a joke in the transfer market anymore with 0.5m loan with 18 year installments anymore,
if we have a plan Pogba is so willing to stay, and I doubt he will even leave this summer or the next.....
as to sportszcy, the man claimed Pogba's release clause was 15m once, and his source was juventuz , when tuz is as much a juve forum as we are, all speculating as we are, but good old vile sportszcy

The thing is that Nedved would come out and say he is not leaving that he loves the club and nedved's character is different he is kind of a loyal solider while Pogba is just a kid hiding behind Raiola.

Pogba owes his everything to us, and every time the kid speaks, its always praise and love, I wouldn't take fat man's words seriously as all he is doing is hiking up Pogba's price every time Pogba makes a sick skill in a game or scores a wonder goal, Pogba is content here, what we as Juve need to do is let the boy know we have a legit plan to get back (which fat man even mentioned)
however if he should even leave, Juve should insist between 130m-150m or interested teams can gtfo....

Re: - Il Polpo Paul | Paul Pogba
Well it's clear that Juve and Serie A aren't on the top of football world for quite some time now so yes he can definitely move to a bigger club,,but it's not that we are ages far from them. It's a very complicated situation really but the important is that at the end Juve will still win.
With Pogba we will have the best midfielder in our ranks and without him we will have a lot of money in our hands to reinvest ( must, must, must be more than 100mln)
We did this in the past even when we were in much better position than we are now and Zidane is the perfect example.
Many great player have left or retired at Juve and we are the club the world knows, as the saying goes: no player is better than the whole team...so feelings aside, there is no point to get mad if we see him leave.

Re: - Il Polpo Paul | Paul Pogba
Juventus board member Pavel Nedved insists it’s not a foregone conclusion that the club will sell Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman is one of the hottest properties in Europe, and has been the source of constant speculation over his future.
Former Juventus midfielder Emerson advised the 21-year-old to stay in Turin, and Nedved reminds potential suitors that the player is under contract.
“I keep hearing it’s almost certain that Pogba will leave Juventus at the end of the season,” the former Czech international said in an interview with Avvenire.
“Those words are premature, because he’s still under contract. Paul is 21-years-old, and he has everything he needs to become an absolutely top class player.
“If later on he asks to leave, then we’ll talk.”
===
I think that is true... He will only leave if he wants to... If he isn't attracted to $$$, he will stay and play for us for a long time...

Pogba could stay with Juventus’
by Football Italia
Mino Raiola says his client Paul Pogba is attracting interest from all over Europe, but could yet remain with Juventus.
The French midfielder is considered one of the brightest prospects in world football, and despite having signed a new deal in October, has been consistently linked with the exit door.
“All the big clubs are interested,” Raiola admitted in an interview with Le Parisien.
“We respect the leagues in France, Germany, Spain, England and Italy. Ligue 1 is not too small for Paul [he has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain].
“Everyone thinks that he’ll leave Juventus, but that’s not certain. It all depends on the will of the club and of Paul.
“If the time to leave comes, he’ll leave.”

Re: - Il Polpo Paul | Paul Pogba
Pogba '99 per cent at Juventus'
Agent Mino Raiola says Paul Pogba will “99 per cent” stay at Juventus, despite bids from “Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern, Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea.”
The French midfielder’s price-tag is believed to be a minimum of €100m and rising, though so far the Bianconeri have resisted all proposals.
“We made a pact with Juve: Paul doesn’t have to leave,” agent Raiola told Tuttosport.
“I spoke to President Andrea Agnelli, directors Pavel Nedved, Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici, so they all agree. The club doesn’t need the money.
“At this moment the situation at Juve is ideal for Pogba. We would only leave if a situation emerged that was favourable for all concerned.
“He is wanted by seven clubs and that is certain, because they all told me so. The ones that can afford him are Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
“If I just whistled, I’d sell Pogba tomorrow to PSG or City in a heartbeat. But Paul did not tell me to find him another club.
“What are his chances of staying? As of today it’s 99 per cent. Juve agree with our approach, which is that they will only sell if Paul asks to leave and there’s a suitable offer. Of course, it could become one per cent, it depends on the market.
“For a year and a half Marotta and Paratici have been working on a market strategy, whether they sell Pogba or keep him.”
Raiola revealed more details about the Spanish battle breaking out between Real Madrid and Barcelona for Pogba.
“Real wanted him 18 months ago, but I didn’t like the attitude Madrid had with me. Juve asked for about €50m and Real told me it was a ridiculous sum. Even Carlo Ancelotti told me that and he adores Pogba. I don’t have to sell him, though. Barcelona could be an option and we’ll see if the Catalans complain too...
“I advised Paul to only leave Juve if he finds a club that desperately wants him. Right now it’s easier to remain in Turin than to leave. Juve are the side with the advantage.
“In fact, if Juventus keep him, then in one or two years they could get even more. Pogba is like a Basquiat or Andy Warhol painting. He’s very pop-art.
“Look at Basquiat’s paintings and you’ll see so much of Paul in there, that mane, the colours, the fire. He also has a divine calm.
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic was never like that. I always got the feeling I was holding an atomic bomb in my hand. Being with Paul is a pleasure. He understands things so well, feels gratitude and respect for Juve.”

Re: - Il Polpo Paul | Paul Pogba
There are fears Paul Pogba has suffered a thigh or hamstring strain, which could rule the Juventus man out for a month.
The 22-year-old, who celebrated his birthday last week, limped off just 27 minutes into today’s 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Pogba was spotted weeping on the bench, consoled by his teammates with an ice pack strapped to the back of his thigh, and hobbled to the bus after the match.
According to initial reports from Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset, there are fears he has suffered a thigh or hamstring strain.
That would rule him out for at least a month.
==
We have an injury crisis in the midfield. Next game against genoa, we will be without Pogba, and vidal is suspended, pirlo quite unfit. Only Pereyra and Marchisio could play. So, sturaro again? We definitely are going to use the 352 against genoa with these injuries/suspensions in midfield.
This guy needs a rest... Non-stop playing time in the first half of the season was insane. This was ought to happen. He is just a kid too.

Re: - Il Polpo Paul | Paul Pogba
Raiola: ‘Pogba doesn’t want Madrid’
Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, says the Juventus midfielder is not interested in moving to Real Madrid.
The French starlet signed a new contract with the Bianconeri in October, but has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Turin, with Real Madrid one of the clubs reportedly interested.
However, in an interview with French sports newspaper L’Equipe, Raiola has dismissed those rumours.
“Everyone says he [Pogba] is the player with the most potential they’ve ever seen,” the famous agent explained.
“I’m the only one who doesn’t talk about Paul and the transfer market. His contract has been extended with Juventus, with the idea that he’s one of the top players at the club.
“Now, if another club wants Pogba, then they can present us with an offer, and we won’t talk about money. Paul will go where he feels good, where he’ll be happy.
“Real Madrid say they’re not interested? Good, if that’s the case we’re not interested either!
“I never went to Real Madrid and said to them ‘please buy Pogba’, never. Real Madrid are a club which is in the habit of buying players like they’re a washcloth, then disposing of them like a washcloth.
“Real is a club which sees a player have six good games in the World Cup and then buys him. We don’t want to go to a club like that.
“We want to go to a club that believes in Paul’s potential. I’m not closing the door to Real, but I’m not going to open it either.”
Raiola did not, however, rule out a move to Paris Saint-Germain where several of his clients, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, currently play.
“Someone in the Italian media asked me what Pogba’s value is. I replied that Pogba is like a work by Basquiat [a famous American artist].
“Why did I say that? Because no-one knows Paul’s real value. People don’t believe me, but if someone likes Pogba it could be €100m, €120m, €130m…
“PSG? I prefer to act when something concrete develops. I just know that Paul will be successful regardless of which club he’s at.”

So he's basically missing the quarter finals. Anyone know when Asamoah is returning?

At the end of this month. Well Pogba's form was kind of dropping a bit and he was tired. Pereyra's form is on the Rise and with Asamoah and Pirlo we should be able go hold good against some sides in UCL

I hope, I hope... I wish that Asamoah won't loose his pace as well.

I think Asamoah wasn't listed for the C.L due to his injury. I don't know if we can change the list for the next round though.

He wasn't listed for the Dortmund games only That is what I believe . Also Barzagli, he wasn't listed for the first game, but played in the second
