I think they're contractually obliged not to have more than a select number of black men on the show
Decent start to the season, nothing spectacular.
Tyrese...went out with a wimper

But the 1 for 1 ffs
Yes it was. Production was on point and really hit home bringing out the emotions.
Struggling Man....nice song. Fitted well with the scenes.

Doesn't the priest + Noah for Tyreese make it a 2 for 1?

Re: The Walking Dead II
Gabriel replaced Bob LOL
Btw I really enjoyed the episode. Tyresse goodbye, he was a nice character. The actor who plays Tyresse got a new role in a TV Show so it was expected, btw the guy who plays Noah also just a got cast in big role so expect him to go soon aswell.
The Walking Dead always seems to start well until it goes down for the rest of the season, I hope it won't the same this season.

I am 100% sure Morgan will replace Gabriel around the end of the season.

The camera work was superb, best I've seen in a long time. Let's just hope the story actually progresses in the remaining episodes.

Re: The Walking Dead II
GOAT is back ffs. Finally managed to catch up on the last two episodes.
Unreal start to the 2nd half of the season.
Episode 9
The direction and cinematography in this episode probably one of the best in all 5 seasons. Was a great episode. Tyrese death was so well done despite him being a terrible character(glad he is gone tbh).
Chris' reaction to his community being dead was great.
Was nice to see the governor back lmao.
Episode 10
Some parts were quite boring, but the other parts were incredible. Rick's speech on "We Are the Walking Dead" is definitely one of my favourite in all 5 seasons. His delivery was so good. Powerful stuff there.
The barn door scene was nice. Although struggling to think how a tornado missed the barn but ravaged everything else.
Sasha needs to die asap.
I am getting fond of the priest
Nice cliff hanger ending. Wonder who he is.

Re: The Walking Dead II
lmao at the priest shirt dialogue.
Yea she should have gone before Tyreese.
The group is still quite big. They need to cut few off. Can see Sasha, Chris and Gabriel die soon. But they probably won't kill 3 more black characters soon after Bob and Tyreese

Re: The Walking Dead II
Finally got around to watch the episode.
Very slow and repetitive dialogue with no character or plot developement would my summary. Well except for the cheap cliffhanger at the end.
I enjoyed the struggle to survive however, how they eat, travel and shelter - it wouldn't harm if they showed more of these moments.
All these characters staying together isn't helping either, it would be better if there were different arcs and spread in 2 episodes like they did in late S4. There's not enough time for everyone to even have a proper conversion - right now they share some words and then it's cut to two other characters, and on and on....
The preview for the next episode shows some action atleast in which this show thrives, because dialogue and character developement simply isn't their thing.
