Re: Leicester have sacked Claudio Ranieri
And the players wanted him out because Ranieri's tactics were shit all season. The only mistake the Leicester board did was not sack him earlier, they might have been in for a Europa League place next season.

Leicester are gonna win the CL now that the insufferable grandad is gone.
Banter aside, If you're a team in relegation and you fail to pick up points against Liverpool FC, You might as well liquidate.

so players can be as unprofessional as they like and not give 100% so long as they don't like the manager?urbaNRoots wrote:And the players wanted him out because Ranieri's tactics were shit all season. The players didn't just suddenly stop liking the manager, they didn't like what he was doing for like 4 months and then started not giving it all (most likely since early January) in the hopes of getting him sacked-- for the good of the club.
I can only wish Arsenal players would have the balls to do such a thing, but they are losers who only care about themselves and not the club.

Bottom line is you can't fire a team like you can fire a manager.
The moment a manager loses the dressing room it's au revoir no matter who it is.

For once they were playing against a team that had a poorer defense than theirs. Look at those goals they scored.
They will be back to being shit from next week onwards. Main Man Marcos Silva got this.

They were fine defensively, still glimpses of Ranieri in that goal they conceded but that'll soon go away with a new manager.
Let's not forget that Liverpool are one of the best attacking teams in the PL this season.

Re: Leicester have sacked Claudio Ranieri
So what went wrong exactly for Ranieri? Not his tactics surely if it worked that well last season? Losing Kante is big but shouldnt have that big of an effect and a lot of the players naturally slumped after their highs last season, but there must be something apart from just tactics?

Re: Leicester have sacked Claudio Ranieri
The sacking of Ranieri is a *bleep* disgrace. They won the league, not yet in the relegation zone, and are at 1/8th final of the Champions League!!! What else do they want? When they got knocked out of the Champions League they would jump up in the league. Typical case of a small team not having enough to play both competitions.

Re: Leicester have sacked Claudio Ranieri
People seem to forget that Ranieri has always been a below average coach.
He is way too rigid, non charismatic, lost the dressing room in every one of his teams. At least based on his Italian performances.
He did wonders last year, but it doesn't change the fact that when you have to adapt, he is totally incapable.

They want to not be in a relegation battle having spent €80m on new players, while losing only one key player and score more than 0 goals after two months.
Typical case of a big team fan having no knowledge on what getting relegated means for the club.

Re: Leicester have sacked Claudio Ranieri
This victory against Liverpool doesn't really prove much, Ranieri Leicester also beat Pep City 4-2, both Klopp and Pep were naive and went to played into Leicester hand and made them seem like prime Saachi Milan.
Its one of those time you see the manager go into a game playing to opposing teams strength
Lets see how the rest of the season goes.

I don't even... would it be ethical for you to start underperforming at your job in the hopes of getting your boss fired?

I agree, but these players are ****ing snakes and should have a little more respect for the man that turned them from nobodies into household names.

Re: Leicester have sacked Claudio Ranieri
If Leicester for real start winning games on the trot now, serious questions need to be asked and introspection needs to be done. That much power to a player is unacceptable, toxic and will ruin the beautiful game once and for all. Agents, players and billionaire owners are taking control of the game and we fans and poor managers are simply powerless to do anything to stop it.

Ranieri should have learned from Moyes taking Utd players chips away.

Should've sacked the fraud earlier, they might still have been in for Europa League next season.
