Re: The Walking Dead III
If the first episode or two convince me, I'll be really excited to watch the whole season. I just hope the writers have been logical and rational in what happens and how the characters behave. I get super annoyed when the characters start acting all stupid and lose their credibility in a doomsday show like this one.

You have to understand not many can stay rational in conditions like the group have been living in. It's not that hard to lose it and go all out yolo making stupid decisions

I'm fine with mental breakdowns like Sasha's, but I have a problem with stuff that isn't credible or explainable. Like, for instance, the way the whole thing played out between Rick and the blonde's abusive husband. There were just things in there that weren't believable or that could be put down to "end of the world" pressure.
By the way, what are people's predictions on which character is going to die first in this series?

Think the Rick and abusive husband thing was reasonable enough.

I thought it was played out fine. Rick was over the edge mentally and just needed someone to lash out onto and that abusive husband was the perfect target. I doubt Rick would have acted like that in any other times.
In terms of who will die. That lesbian girl maybe. Sasha should go too. And that pastor

Re: The Walking Dead III
Was pretty sure they'd off Glenn at the end of last season for the shock value. Wouldn't be surprised if a major character went, maybe Maggie, idk.
There are ones that wouldn't be missed. Can't believe Sasha is still around.
Excited though.

Re: The Walking Dead III
I may have said this before, but killing off Maggie and using that to make Glenn a darker character would be kinda cool. I'd like to see some character development anyway.
I just really hope they don't kill Abraham, I like him a lot. Could Michonne's time be up? I guess not.
Killing off a couple of the lesser characters at one go would also be nicely surprising. Like, Rosita and Eugene.

Not Rosita pls.
Michonne is 3rd to rick and Carl so she won't be killed till probably the end.

How I see it too. Maggie has staled as a character, her death would put some life into Glenn's.

She barely has a purpose anymore. At least Glenn redeemed himself towards the end last season.

Thought of mentioning Maggie as well, but I gathered she's too an important character for now and after killing Beth off, they'd like to keep someone from that family still alive
Anyway, as already mentioned there's many other filler who should be going before a "shock factor" of a big death.

I liked the episode. Was expecting a boring filler but it was pretty action packed.
Think the horn at the end was blown by that blonde's emo kid.

What an incredible return of TWD. Holy shit https://i.imgur.com/7wuXfar.png
Don't remember moving an inch for an hour. That directing was amazing. Loved how it panned from flashback to present and covered nearly every arc.
Masterclass by Rick btw. Magnificent performance. Specially this scene
Think the Horn was blown by one of those Wolves guys from the end of last season. Surely that kid won't be that stupid.
Easily a 9.5/10

Re: The Walking Dead III
I thought it was a solid season opener. I was expecting something slower, but I enjoyed how the season went straight to some pretty serious action.
That crossed my mind, but I really hope that's not the case. That'd be one of those very incredible things if a teenager in his angst attempted to get everyone killed. I could accept it if it was Father Gabriel trying to send everyone to hell or heaven, but I guess I'm hoping it's an outsider (the Wolves).

Re: The Walking Dead III
Although thinking about it, I could understand why the show's writers would like to make the horn player be the kid. Rick just killed his father and fancies his mother, yeah, it would create drama if the kid betrayed the whole community. Also, the short scene where the teenage girl was sitting on a rooftop and a teenage boy climbed up to hold hands with her; was it Coral with her or the one watching from afar? If the guy watching them was that kid of Pete's, it would kinda be yet another clue of his angst, perhaps trying to explain his treachery now...
I don't know, I just really hope it's not the kid, I couldn't take a plot twist like that seriously at all.

I really hope it's not that kid. That would be awful. Rather father gabriel or any other mofo in that town. Just not the kid please.
Don't care if it makes sense. But please.
LOL at eugene and that Edgar Davids look alike banter

Re: The Walking Dead III
Btw, judging by this first episode, I'll be surprised if Morgan and Rick don't clash during the season. We'll see how bad, but it's definitely looking set to happen. I also kinda liked how Daryl disagreed with Rick about bringing new people in.

Re: The Walking Dead III
Rick is going full insane lol. That plan was crazy and had literally 20% success rate. Deana has lost it so she will do anything Rick says.
I like this Rick a lot so I don't mind. But he is going to be the downfall
Also think Daryl is going to die soon.

I don't know about insane, but this Rick is definitely cold and ruthless. Could lead to some good stuff since some will probably oppose him and others support.

Re: The Walking Dead III
From what I understand, this current season is headed towards the 'no way out' arc from the comics which is supposedly GOAT (as every arc during alexandria period is apparently).
Expecting a lot of action this season (and deaths). But obviously filler as well (guess that's why the cast is huge now)
