I agree with Kick, juve were moving heaven and earth to get piazon before we got him and he's killing it on loan atm, he's got WC potential for sure. Also I don't know where these Zhirkov comparisons come from, even though I liked Zhirkov, Schurlle is a world away from him

Not exactly. We have 2 players who could play RB (Azpi and Ivanovic) and 2 who could play LB (Azpi and Cole). Cole is rarely ever injured so should Azpi ever be needed on the right, he comes back in. Beyond that there's nothing admittedly, but you can't expect to have 3 players for every position.

It's not an ideal situation but one that can be managed til the summer.

I'm not saying 3, but two players for every position. I guess it could be argued that we rarely rotated the fullback positions in the first place. Basically, Ivanovic and Cole (1st part of season thus far)/ Az (2nd part of season) played whenever possible. And it's unlikely that we'll have two fullback injuries at the same time.

I really like PVA and Bertrand a lot i think both should fight it out next season. As good as talent Shaw is, i don't think he is better then either of those LBs atm.

PVA has really done better defensively, and i don't think Shaw can come close to what PVA can offer attacking wise.
