Juventus are reportedly ramping up their attempts to sign Nani from Manchester United in January.

The Portuguese winger has been repeatedly linked with a move to Turin for well over a year and Sky Sport Italia maintain a January switch is on the cards.

His arrival would allow Juve to adopt a 4-3-3 formation, as Simone Pepe’s injury problems continue to drag on.

According to these latest reports, Manchester United would be willing to release Nani on a six-month loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old would be cup-tied, so ineligible to play for Juventus in the Champions League if they progress to the knockouts.

Nani is seeking more playing time ahead of the World Cup, as Portugal qualified by beating Sweden in the play-offs.
