Various reports across the internet link us to Nani and considering he's out of favour this is a Marotta type deal.


Personally I don't want this diving scrub peice of shit near my Juve, he would take up funds that could be spent buying... anybody but Nani.

He's inconsistant, and if you'd rather we spend our 'star forward' budget on an inconsistant player who doesn't even fit our system then that's fine. But there's no way in Hell Marotta would sanction a bid for Nani AND another attacker. No chance.

If our big summer revelation is signing an out of favour winger who you never know what you're going to get from then we're doing it wrong.

He is class there is no question about it, will he work hard enough for Conte? I don't know....

He isn't a hard worker, he is very inconsistant also.


Look at it this way. Personally the idea of dropping 1 of our Center backs to accomodate Nani in a 4-3-3 makes me cringe.

And if we don't drop the 3-5-2 and buy Nani he will be playing in a 3-5-2/3-5-1-1


Now ask yourselves two questions.

Is Nani a regular goal scorer?
would he give the main striker better service than Vucinic?

I'm personally going with No to both questions.

And we are clearly lacking a top goal scorer so bringing in Nani is a waste of time. And if we played him off of Llorente I wouldn't trust him to be better for Llorente than the likes of Vucinic who is a much more intelligent player who understands where to run, how to properly draw defenders away and he has great Vision.

Nani is great threat from the wings he really is a great player close to WC but the question and the main one is do we need another winger in 4-3-3 because we got Giach,Pepe,Giovinco,Vucinic I am saying as wingers or LWST/RWST in 4-3-3. I rate Nani but I said it in the beginning of this comment

The other one is do we want the 4-3-3 ? or Conte aims at 3-4-3 we won't know until this summer.

3-4-3 is interesting but I think that would be the end of Pirlo as a starter. No way he's slotting into a 3-4-3 and no way Marchisio or Vidal could cover for him on his own. Plus I think with a 2 man midfield, we'll be hard pressed to keep our current midfielders happy.
