Allegri has proved he is a wise person, he won't over-enthusiastically throw his new boys in to watch them and enjoy...

But Cassano, El Shaarawy, Aquilani have the biggest chance of coming on midway through the second half in case we're not comfortably leading, while Nocerino, Ambrosini and Yepes are the options to keep the hard-fought one-goal lead.

Biggest doubts in the starting XI are Taiwo and Gattuso, instead of whom there's a good chance we might see Zambrotta and Aquilani.

Early season stuttering is a huge danger to our Serie A pursuit this season.

Look at Inter last year, Under Benitez they were chalking down draws and losses like they were going out of fashion. If they hadn't had that poor early season form then probably would have retained their Serie A title.

I think Allegri should be sticking to what he knows and playing Zambrotta instead of Taiwo for these early games. Who knows how costly a miscommunication between Nesta and Taiwo could be early in the season.

The defence is the big issue for me but a simple one in - one out rotation for the midfield such as Aquilani or Nocerino making their debut could be useful to add enthusiasm to our playing style and maybe even surprise the opposition.

Allegri is systematically phasing Inzaghi out of Milan just as he did with Pirlo last year. The club claim long term injuries and keep pushing their return dates back to cover up the fact that the players are not in the coach's plans.

MILAN - It was a very convincing performnace from Milan at the Sinigaglia stadium against Como. Milan won the match 2-1 with goals from Ambrosini after 22 minutes and Emanuelson on 56 minutes. Very good performance from El Shaarawy who left the pitch after 23 minutes of the second half. The players got into their rhythm after the first 20 minutes and Coach Allegri also decided to give two youngsters from the youth team a chance, D'Avolio and Mastalli.

Como: Giambruno, Bellitta, Diniz, Salvi, Zullo, Urbano, Doumbia, Lewandowski, Tavares, Miello, Ciotola. A disposizione: Conti, Nieddu, Vicente, Bardelloni, Lulli, Asiedu, Ambrosini, Tonetto, Di Lernia, Vicedomini. Allenatore: Ramella.

After just 17 minutes El Shaarawy hit the post after some wonderful control and a curling shot with his right foot. On 22 minutes the first goal of the game was scored by Massimo Ambrosini who was set up by El Shaarawy. Just two minutes later Como equalised. Ciotola went past Zambrotta and fed the ball to Miello who did not miss the target. Then on 35 minutes El Shaarawy tried to find the near post with his right but the ball went just over the bar.

The second half started with Amelia betweent the posts and De Sciglio in place of Yepes. After just nine minutes Kevin Prince Boateng tried his luck with a volley on the run but the ball finished wide. Two minutes later Kingsley Boateng was fouled in the box. Emanuelson stepped up to take the spot kick and made it 2-1 for the rossoneri. Again Boateng tried his luck from distance on 28 minutes of the second half but saw his effort his the inside of the post and bounce out.
