Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
Well the first half reinforced that we still need to make midfield signings, however our squad still has the ability to beat anyone in Serie A, though a match with Inter can still go either way. Nothing new in that sense, however hopefully it makes us that bit more adventurous in the close of the market.

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
The Milan section has been dead this summer, quite understandable, considering our lazy transfer campaign.
I dont get why they dont even buy Montolivo now. I understand that Milan dont agree with the sums being thrown at players nowadays, but are we not aiming for the very top every year in all competitions? It sounds as if Galliani tries to say that we cant afford anything because of the heavy taxes in Italy compared to that in Spain etc, but Montolivo cant be breaking the bank?!

Welcome to the Milan Forums Uzee!
Most of us haven't seen El Shaarawi first hand.
I reckon, if players like Fossati, De Sciglio and Calvano appear, then we'll see El Shaarawi.
Malmo seem like good opposition for potential break-through players

Montolivo has one more year left on his contract and is paid about 4 million euros per annum iirc. This means that one year of his services is 'valued' at about 8 million euros. He has rejected La Viola's contract offer and has been stripped of the captaincy. It is assured that Montolivo will not be plying his trade in Florence next season.
Milan have been in negotiations for some time. We originally offered about 8 million. Then we offered cash and co-ownership of Paloschi, giving his playing rights away. This offer was valued at 10 million. Fiorentina still wanted 12 million.
Remember to keep this in perspective; the distance between our current valuations of said player is still 2 million euros. That is not exactly 'walking-around-money'. Berlusconi and Galliani will not be bullied into making such a deal. Fiorentina's management will realize their the impracticality of their stubbornness the closer we get to August 31st.

Can't wait for the game even though it's a friendly, I recently was in Malmo and it was nice. I saw them play BK Hacken in Goteborg as well. I'm looking forward to Ibra's reunion with his former club.

Still no el sharaawy? Was really looking forward to seeing him.
One good thing about this game is that we'd get to see a lot of our youngsters in action. I hope we win anyway
