Busquets fed up of Madrid 'tears'

The midfielder has grown tired of the post-match excuses of los Blancos after his side won the bragging rights in the first Clasico of the season

Sergio Busquets says he is fed up of Real Madrid "crying" over their 2-1 defeat to Barcelona on Saturday and excused Carlo Ancelotti's side of "always looking for excuses".

The Blaugrana emerged victorious from the first Clasico of the season, with goals from Neymar and Alexis Sanchez in either half ensuring Jese Rodriguez's 90th minute strike was in vain.

But Madrid players were quick to criticise referee Alberto Undiano after the game for his decision not to award a penalty following Javier Mascherano's challenge on Cristiano Ronaldo in the second half.

"Madrid crying about the referee? They always look for excuses. They have no reason to complain, not today, not earlier this season," Busquets slammed after the game.

"The easy excuse is by the referee. Same as always. They cannot complain precisely this year about the officials. But if they do, they do."

Sanchez's sublime 78th minute chip provided the game's iconic moment and after Andres Iniesta hailed the Mexico international's contribution after the game, Busquets moved quickly to do the same.

"It was a wonderful goal by Alexis, it was beautifully crafted," praised the 25-year-old midfielder.

Agreed, they cant complain about the ref this season. The amount of decisions that went in their favor this season is beyond realism. As someone on this forum said; it balances each other out. One good call, one bad. Got their 96+ minute penalty, now they dont.

Yeah we have had some questionable at best calls at our end, but if that is reason for the ref not to call something so obvious. That should result in him never participating in a game like that again.

That is not the reason he didnt see it, karma is!

If you want to talk about referee mistakes in last night's clasico, lets start with Pepe's foul on Cesc inside the box when Barcelona were 1-0 ahead (52nd minute)!

Real Madrid can F**k off, if not for the referee mistakes against Granada, Villareal and Elche they would have been 10+ pts behind Barca!

Funny enough, there was a similiar situation between Alexis and Pepe last season or the season before, but that time everyone agreed that it was a dive..

Busquets has really been a top player for us for so long and especially this season, I think Tata has given the whole team something new, and even for Busquets, hes even scored which I havent seen b4 I think

Real is a joke as usual with the ref and other excuses.... I guess its just normal, between the rivalry, defeat to the other is always unbearable... but I would like to think we accept defeat with much better class than they do

It seems to me that very El Classico ends in a lot of complaining and quite frankly I'm sick of hearing about any of it.

Interestingly enough while reading Spanish sites i see nothing about tears. From Marca:

"Cada vez que pierden, la excusa fácil es el árbitro. Ellos no se pueden quejar, se ha podido equivocar durante el partido para unos y para otros. Guilty on the count of using the word suffering, though.

Buscuit hasn't dived in the longest time, can't say the same about Ronaldo or Pepe etc etc.
but the difference between Buscuit and the Madrid players, Sergio never complained to the media, and blamed a loss on the ref..
whereas Madrid is even putting up as a headline in their website and till this day some say Ronaldo is still crying his eyes out.

I dont blame Ronaldo. He is used to score penalty every game
