I'm happy for NGog, I really liked him even though he wasn't that good. Remember how he was on fire under Woy and scored a great goal against Arsenal.

He even brought his own ball.... I love a player who is prepared.

I will be interested to see how he's utilized by Newcastle. If he's played in the wide right forward role or off of Remy I have a feeling he may struggle a bit. Used as a proper CF (with Remy playing alongside or off of him) I think he can rediscover some of his pre-BMG form.

Then again I expected Babel, van Wolfswinkel, and Altidore to find some regular goal scoring form in the PL as well, and backed Luuk to do well at BMG previously... so perhaps my endorsement is the last thing Mole wants to see about a player.

Pardew called him a CF with good technique so i'd be shocked if he's anywhere else other than centre forward.

Remy struggles at leading the line anyways, so it makes sense to play him off De Jong or put him out on the left again where he's initial success came from anyway.

But with Pardew you never know, but with Remy suspended for 3 games he'll be playing there regardless at least in the short term.

Who gets dropped when Remy returns (assuming de Jong does enough to maintain his place)? Ben Arfa or Gouffran? And who ends up on the bench if/when Grenier arrives?

I would personally drop Gouffran in that scenario but i have this feeling Pardew will drop Ben Arfa.

As for Grenier if there is a speck of truth to it, then i'd guess that Sissoko or Anita would be dropped.

Personally i'd go Anita-Tiote-Grenier/Ben Arfa-De Jong-Remy but we'll see what happens.
