Fiorentina could be without the experienced David Pizarro for this weekend’s clash with Juventus.

The veteran midfielder missed training for the Chile national team this afternoon as they prepare for a World Cup qualifier with Ecuador.

Reports suggest that Pizarro has picked up a muscle injury, although the extent of the knock has not been revealed.

The 34-year-old is likely to be out of the match in Santiago, but it remains to be seen if he will but enough to face the Bianconeri on Sunday.
