Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs Cardiff City
Like it or not (and believe me, I don't ), Torres is our best striker right now on form. If he's recovered from his injury, I think it'll be him.

Isn't he still red carded though?

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs Cardiff City
Most importantly, we have this game, then Schalke away, then City at home, then Arsenal away in the space of 10 days...

I'd like to see some continuity at CF then.
At least try to get ONE of our CF's in form.

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs Cardiff City
Will be surprised if one person starts 4 games in 10 days. Especially given Mourinho's dogged rotation policy with them thus far.

Not saying start all, but certainly give a majority of the game time to one.

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs Cardiff City
He probably will. And odds are, the three of them still won't have scored at the end of the run

Mourinho on Cole:
"It's not a dangerous situation, but it's very painful. At this moment the pain persists. He can't train at the moment. If Monday, he can train, he has a chance for the Champions League, but I have my doubts. Bertrand is more than ready, though. He's going to play his first minutes in the Premier League this season."

And on Schurrle:
"For Schurrle, it's the kind of problem that happens a lot in World Cup years, which is a player with a little problem wants to play in the national team and comes back injured to the club. That's normal. That's acceptable. He has a little problem in a muscle and we cannot risk. So he's out."

And finally, Torres:
"The medical department and the player did very good dedication and work during this periods so he's back. We have now the three available."
"I have Fernando and Eto'o and Demba all three ready, and we need that. After 15 days no football, now we have three competitions at the same time."

Shame about Schurrle and Cole.
Let's hope we see KDB and Berty step it up

Chelsea's Gary Cahill going from sublime as England reach World Cup to sub against Cardiff:
Defender played every minute of wins over Montenegro and Poland but Blues boss Mourinho still prefers Terry and Luiz

"I trust Gary. I like him very much. I want to help him, not make his life difficult."
"I would never do something that could jeopardise his selection for the national team or create a difficult situation for him on the national team. No worries, he will play a lot."
"In a couple of weeks, I may change my mind because of performances and he becomes my first option and I leave John or David out. But at this moment, John and David are playing well."
