Re: Ross Barkley - Chelsea watch
Certainly fun to watch, but frustrating at the same time.
Would hype/10.

Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:All of them will try to buy him think.... He's ridiculously good.
But if he knows what is good for him he will reject them all
None of them will be good for his career.
I guess everyone liked Barkley and hyped him also as the next * upcoming English midfielder in the country . But what happened to him? This summer when he was left with only one year on the contract, a similar situation as Ox no one seemed interested in him apart from Chelsea. He seems certainly not interested in developing his football in last 6 months or so. But is he still worth taking a punt there!
It seems like he is bound to be a Spurs player soon. A coach like Pep, Klopp or Poc will turn him into a player what he was hyped to be.

Re: Ross Barkley - Chelsea watch
ppl buying into the hype
never rated him as I'm cautious with all the English younger players, he had a few good months period in his entire career
wouldn't start for anyone in the top 6, Everton is his level and he's gonna find it tough to start there now too

He's a nobody. Should've taken the chance to ride the Chelsea bench because now he'll be riding the Everton one short of playing out of his mind.

Saddens me to see he's crap IRL, Juve legend for me in Fifa
He has everything to succeed, some talent, physical attributes and a cool name in Ross Barkley.

I'm just here to laugh at Chelsea for being snubbed by Barkley in favor of Spurs, but don't mind me

Very interesting from Joey Barton. If it's true then Conte is an absolute lad.Joey Barton wrote:"I heard a really interesting thing about what happened with the Ross Barkley transfer. Conte turned his phone off and Barkley's representatives were trying to contact him.
"He wanted to say 'look, where am I going to play', and Conte turned his phone off. That is why Barley got cold feet and never signed.
"He thought, 'well, if the manager isn't answering the phone to me he clearly doesn’t want me', and that is why he went back to Everton."

Yes very respectful, he became a great lad

Remember when Barkley and Wilshere were the future of the England midfield...?

Barkley, Ward-Prowse and the extremely blonde dude from Derby County
Wilshere's hype was a nearly decade ago. He's been flopping for so long that it's hard to believe he's only 25

Not sure if missing out on two signings because you're scaring players off with uncertainties about positions, or wanting them for the wrong positions qualifies as lad behaviour. More like, irritating.

Had to use Dr. Google to confirm that Jack is really 25. I swore he was at least 29 but nope, 25. The man is now heading into the prime of his career...

Re: Ross Barkley - Chelsea watch
Barkley is a decent player still but he's a decent player like Ox is alright. They've got talent but they haven't the brain to go with it.
I think Barkley is better than Ox though. Barkley isn't as much of an idiot football wise, he simply lacks the end product. I think if he can be converted into a position similar to Dembele at Spurs, being used as a CM whose job is to bring the ball up the field and dribble players to create space, he can have a role. Not as good defensively or positionally though.
We'll see how he does for Spurs. I think if he comes relatively cheap he'll be a solid signing, at the very least he offers depth and competition.

I agree with @CBarca . Barkley is a good player, and surely much better than the Ox.
I still believe in Ross.

Re: Ross Barkley - Chelsea watch
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH ROSS BARKLEY
Absolutely shocked to see he has no played a single minute in 17/18 yet. What is happening? He is no injured either? What the hell is going on?
There's a terrible crime going on infront of everyone's eyes, and noone's steppig in. Noone is even saying anything about it, not even thinking about it.
A young player is literally being disappeared.
So he refuses to sign a new contract and he is punished for it like that? How is that not a major topic in the UK? Who will save this fantastic player from the bitter, *bleep* up club that is Everton?

Never mind.
Just seen he has been injured all season and just back in training a few days ago.

He'll probably end up on a United or Spurs bench one day but he's average and irrelevant so who cares.

I've heard a few Chelsea fans saying he will rotate with Fabregas as the playmaker, Which made me laugh so hard that my life expectancy decreased by 2-3 years.

Chelsea fans supposedly hated her just as much as they did Emenalo.
Watch that change since they realized shes attractive.
