Nice video!

Honestly , i don't follow you guys . You trully believe we don't need Kaka ?
We can actualy compete with the team we have right now . We didn't have anyone better than Kaka until now. Saponara is far from ready to assume such responsibility and vital position and as for Honda , i strongly believe your desire to see him wear the jersey , blinds yours judgement. He's not a better player than Kaka.

I can type a thousand words to support his return , though i think there's no need. Kaka will speak for himself on the field , to me , this is crystal clear. I don't expect to watch 2007 Kaka , as i don't expect to watch 2007 Milan nowdays. It doesn't have to be 2007-esque.

It will be something new and it will be great.

yea exactly!!

we dont need to be kaka go all solo bang goals run his ass off and save milan.

we were desperately lacking that vision and assist from AM from KPB.. and kaka will do that.

we had el sharaawy and balotelli single handely saving our asses all the time, its time kaka becomes part of that too, its not like he has to do everything on his own just like he did in his first stint here!

yea it would be new adventure for kaka too, i will not cut a slack for him either but he will play well, and he needs our support!

and i am from japan i have seen honda play plenty... honda is a good player, good passing, makes good assist, is a team player, is tactically good

but he is not a game changer.. he wont win games from his solo effort, and he is slow. he takes time to explore his option. he will be good addition for sure, but he is not like elite player.

seriously when people think kaka is like going to be sheva...

seriously people who are not enjoying kaka return please don't ruin the mood. i am actually rooting for a man who have given so much for us and will do best in his 2 years here, and he needs much support that he had lost for 3 years at real.

el sharaawy position at milan is not at threat, in fact mancity bid by english media was totally exaggerated.

i dont give a s. t if people believe on kaka, but i still have beliefs on him and he and el sharawwy and balotelli will be perfect in attack.
I agree Jesp.

Most of all , Balotelli , Saponara and El Sharaawy will be the ones who will benefit most from Kaka . In addition , we have Matri or Pazzini to help when one of them can't find the net. We have options now ; we have the young flair in Ses and Balo and eventualy Sapo , the experience in Kaka , Matri , Pazzini and to an extent Robinho and the most important of all : every single one of them loves Milan and they have a great desire to challenge for new successes . It is the perfect mix .

As for Eriksen , i strongly doubt it Milan didn't go for him. He must have rejected us for a move to england. If he wanted Milan , Galliani would buy him in an instant for this kind of money. I seriusly don't care about Eriksen , we have Kaka and Saponara. FCK Eriksen lol

oh on eriksen thats a good point. he has been speaking of his desire to play in england often.

and btw after kaka is gone, we will go to easy transition with saponara, with hachim mastour just graduating from primavera and very much ready for first team

yep dante. el sharaawy and balotelli will benefit hefty from ricky. its time they get support they needed because KPB never assisted atttackers on regular basis. he was all solo looking for personal glory with fancy moves or blasting ball.

the fact that relationship broke down just because allegri asked him to play as b2b this time around says it all. we got kaka now, saponara will be deputy for kaka.

besides saponara role is not limited as AM. he can play LW, RW, AM, or even central

i like matri too. but he was given option at defense or midfield.

why the hell allegri is so damn worried about pazzini now when we have attackers stock piled!!!

this time its not galliani ...

we probably didnt get eriksen because of ajax demands or milannews.it reported there was some other reason... maybe honda

anyway thanks el shaarawy for optimism ^O^V keep it up we got kaka we should be celebrating bro!!
Yet Leonardo couldn't have his way when he was our manager

Sure he may not have been the greatest coach, but he had already proven himself as a talented scout for us. I agree with El Shaarawy, we seem to have missed out on some good deals this transfer window (not including Honda - I agree with not overpaying for a player who will be free in a few months and seems committed to Milan). I understand that it is good to listen to a manager because they will be the one implementing their ideals, however it seems our management is confused about how much power and say they would like to have. I recall reading about management wanting a Allegri to play a certain formation.

As for Kaka...I have mixed feelings on the transfer. While he has dealt with a lot of injuries, I would also argue that he has had a lot of time off. Perhaps the lack of football will have been good for his body. I dislike the fact that this seems like management trying to quiet the fans with a transfer they will consider with their hearts. I however remain optimistic (about Kaka, not about our season if we don't reinforce our back line - the little I have seen from Zapata scare me). If Honda does not come in January, I will be disappoint...

i am worried about defense too. zapata right now is abysmal. if something happens to de jong , thats another big thing to worry about. honda though is all sewn up for jan. we wanted him even before kaka but CSKA ... according to bronzetti first accepted after CL draw but changed their mind again....

Allegri did well , in fact , this should have been done earlier with Boateng, but given the fact we didn't have any better option there , Boateng kept on believing he's a 10. Better this way. As for Honda .

He is a capable player , it's obvious .I wanted Milan to sign him as early as possible , though i must admit when Galliani said it is him or Kaka , i was hoping Cska would reject our offer. I didn't like him that much once , i admit it , but he bought me too . Yet if he hesitates as much as Boateng , then all the better we went for Kaka. Don't get me wrong , i'd like to see him join Milan in January. But to play behind Kaka , not in Ricky's place. Otherwise stay in Cska , there's Sapo available. Hell , even Ses could do it in a game or two , if the need arises.

Everybody will benefit from Kaka. Every single player in the team. Ses and Kaka can form something really unique with time. Ses has a great eye to find himself in a threatening position and Balotelli usualy attracts bodies close to him. Throw Kaka's vision and assisting in the mix and DePoLivo behind them in support and you have a great , strong team.

hahaha yea... seriously at this point i am super worried about de jong's injury, or zapata's performance than kaka.

el shaaawy will benefit heavily for sure, and balotelli was only the best creator for us so far now we got kaka there.

as for allegri saying in recent days how el sharawwy should learn to be second striker.... well in first half of the season last year when we were playing SES in 4-3-1-2 and he scored massive...

so now i dont see any problems with SES adapting as second striker.. infact it was when we had balotelli coming and we reverted to 4-3-3 with SES as winger that he started to score less goals.

so even good news for SES!!! with kaka incomming

Ses just needs sometime to get used to it , he's a natural . He is a second striker with very specific characteristics , quite rare to have those specifics into one player. With Kaka behind him , he will evolve as a player. When he will be having an off game , there will be Matri or Robinho. In any case , we will have options and we are well covered up front.

Kaka was the missing factor . Balo will get more support now and with Montolivo and Poli combining with the forwards , we will enjoy a lot of games this season. Man , next Milan game can't come soon enough

No SES was played as a LW in the first half of the season before Balo's arrival.. We only used the 4-3-1-2 in the first 4 matches of the last season and it yielded poor results

So I think SES really has to adapt tto the role of a second striker cause he has had problems playing in that role even for Italia

that's what happened , yes. Though the whole team played badly there , not Ses. And it was down to the absence of important players who used to be the protagonists that the team didn't live up to it like before , not plain inability.

As for Ses he needs to be closer to the goal , actualy. Now with a team that's been together for a year and been through a lot of experiences, with a proper AM in Kaka and Poli to help in the middle ,De Jong stronger than ever, the 4-3-1-2 is ready to go.

He has to adapt , no arguements there , but it won't be something new to him. In fact , he will be even more dangerous compared to being a LW. It won't be some crazy difference tbh , but it will be better than the 4-3-3 for SES. I've explained my opinion in the formations and tactics thread and why i think both Balo and Ses will be better within the 4-3-1-2. As for the Italian NT , you re wrong Uzonero. Ses and Balo , at least before Balo came to Milan , did great in the 4-3-1-2 , iirc at least. Not sure how frequently Prandelli have been using it ever since 2013 came in though.

In any case ,

Ses - Balo

Kaka

Montolivo - Poli

De Jong

De Sciglio - Mexes - Zapata - Abate

Abbiati

this is not bad , not bad at all.

With Matri,Robinho,Muntari,Nocerino,Birsa,Pazzini,Constant,Bonera is a very solid team which can actualy compete. I don't know how far we can go this season , yet this Milan can give it a try actualy. And with Roma , Fiorentina and especialy Napoli strengthening their squads significantly , we badly needed the experience in Matri and Kaka. Don't know for Birsa , but he can't be worse than Traore , so even there we have improved. I am excited for the season to come.

with el sharawwy playing in the left wing in 4-3-3 i always felt he had limited himself to just one flank. fortunately allegri did address this and asked el sharaawy to move freely but with 4-3-3 el sharawwy had to retain his position.

it feels like though with 4-3-1-2 with kaka in, SES would be super threat, because he as a second striker could move to space as kaka would be looking to serve either balo or SES. and we know since balo can create chances too, its not just kaka who would be creating, he can score too!

thats just great!!!

well, we have quite decent squad but i am seriously worried about de jong because we dont have deputy for him. then zapata problem. so its better if we have jherson vergara. he is obviously not going to play but he can challenge zapata for position.

the faster we get pazzo saponara vergara back the better. it gives us even more depth than we already have. and we got to get de sciglio back too.

man... this is going to be epic. i am though willing to give kaka plenty of time. fitness wise, milan should know or will know his fitness plan because of his time here. in fact i think it would be better for kaka here how to get back to his good fitness level.

confidence is the only key for kaka to get back to his good level. and he will get that here.

word of caution, i think we milan shouldn't expect ricky to be absolute hero like he was. as long as he provides good assist for SES and balo thats good enough for me! we had been lacking that ever since he left

ronaldinho was tried AM he failed, then with zlatan era we had just him doing everything for us, last season was the story of el sharawwy in first half, balo in second half.

fortunately kaka has come right in time . and also thankfully he has taken part in pre-season games for real, and played few games prior to move to us, so its a good thing as of now.

Our attack is really tasty now Cool

that kinda outweighs our mishaps in defense. If we concede, we have the firepower to fight back!

hahahaha true! though there has been lot of push both from media and from fans to buy defender but galliani said no.. he is convinced that we have bonera silvestre as backup.

though vergara should be very interesting challenge for mexes and zapata in fact, if vergara it handful of games i am convinced that he would take zapata's place!

allegri needs to organize defense, but attack looks solid!!!

welcome back kaka! i too think its a good deal, not the best, but considering the details of this deal, 5mil transfer fee at most, and 4mil + bonuses per is not that bad, and its only 2 years

like people already said we are not expecting 2007 kaka, his experience and mentorship to our young attackers is crucial, and he is 100% upgrade to boateng (not that this was a crazy accomplishment) team improved without much spending. honda arrival will give us more depth in the midfield.

on paper now, and based on the cagliari games, sooner we rid of zapata from the starting 11, replace him with someone capable, we have a very nice team!

vergara and saponara can get some occasional minutes for now, thats where they should be unless they somehow surprise us and show that they are ready to contribute

anyways i believe this was a good deal for milan, and welcome back ricky!

i think by now we are too late regarding defender. maybe if we still dont do well in defense, in january allegri might address this situation because from january on, everything will be crucial, from CL to serie A.

i think, vergara and saponara defo will get time. vergara situation might be a little difficult because allegri has habit of preferring experienced defender than one with potential. but i am hoping he gets chance.

as for saponara he is versatile. he might deputize kaka or el sharawwy or better yet montolivo.

Dante, JespSwe - I completely agree with you guys about Kaka'. I have no doubt that he will be a tremendous player for us. Kaka' behind Balotelli and El Shaarawy is simply awesome.

People are entitled to their own opinion, but with the current situation milan finds itself in, I think Kaka was the best option.

A top quality AM is going to cost us 30+ million. Eriksen is really not that great, he's just overhyped. Not to mention his best position is CM not AM.

My only concern regarding Kaka' is his knee problems. But if we can stay injury free, I have no doubt this will be a great signing. I think 2 years from now, once our transition is truly over, we will have the money to buy a long term replacement (or rely on Sapo).

Also he is free, 4m wage.

I think once Honda arrives he can replace Poli in the starting lineup. Honda can play CM as well, altho Allegri might be too defensive to use him there.

“I am so excited, it’s wonderful to see so many people, so many friends, and this is what I needed,” he told Sky Sport Italia outside the Giannino restaurant.

“What do I expect? I expect to experience many joyful moments. I’ve already had so many and hope to have more with these great young players. It’s a different situation for me, as now I’m one of the oldest here.

“My message to the fans? We’ll do great things together.”

Kaka will fly back to Madrid tonight in order to sort out the details of the move with his family and return to Italy on Wednesday.

“There is no business, only pleasurable sensations for a player who is finally coming home. It was very, very difficult, but it’s all over now,” Vice-President Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

“Everyone had to put the effort in to make this go through. The transfer market? It is definitely closed.”

given that we didnt have enough fund. this deal was justified. what more its ricky and we can be assured what we can get from him. i understand your concern but its been a while that kaka has been benched, in fact for more than a year he has been pretty much available for real without any injury issues we had heard before. so thats another good news.

regarding transition you are right.. infact i dont think we have to spend.. saponara will be ready... better yet... Hachim Mastour who milan has been desperately trying to get him to play, he will be ready by then!!! even better!!!

its funny, that Hachim Mastour in twitter and facebook was super excited about Kaka return!!! everything is falling in good place as of now.

in CL ever since he left we haven't been able to do better than last 16 for years now. this time around, i hope Kaka can pull us upto alteast semi final at best!! well thats a big hope though.!!

the better we do in CL the more money we can get to reinforce.

best thing about this deal like u said is that we are not paying Kaka hefty. in fact it was ricky who made this happen. 12 million a year to 4 million earning.. thats a lot of sacrifice he made just to come to us. he could have gone to premier league and earn more. but he loves Milan... !! and thats all that he needs, thats all we need.

fans passion and his own passion for milan will put him to good situation , kaka just said, he is one of the oldest now, and he knows whats up... he says he is ready to help youngsters and live good moments.

2 years... 2 years thats very short!!! lets hope 2 years will be good for him and good for milan!<3

Agreed on everything said above. People often underestimate the off-the-field benefits of having Kaka:

1. He is a legitimate superstar and will be a great presence in the locker room, providing leadership, a good attitude, leadership, and mentoring for younger players (esp. saponara and el shaarawy)

2. He will bring more fans to the stadium. more fans = more money + better atmosphere at home games (which will in turn help us win).

3. JERSEY SALES!!!! this will be huge. I am for sure buying a Kaka' jersey. The ones they are selling in the US dont have an apostrophe after his name, which is infuriating. I already sent them a note regarding this.

4. Improved fan following - tons of people started watching milan because of kaka. Several of those will start watching milan again now.

Honda will have similar off-the-field benefits also. Both are coming for free. I guarantee a MASSIVE increase in revenue over last season, provided we at least reach r16 in champions league.

ricky is not a show off, he is serious individual, he is humble he is polite, and he is hardworking. he is not just here to enjoy and earn and leave. he wants to prove his point he wants to go to Brazil. and obviously for that he will put hardwork for us thats going to benefit us.

so well said kr10.

yea ur right 100% kaka was our iconic figure to popularity, and that just dropped ever since he left. like galliani says.. "Now I hope Kaka's orphans, the 12,000 or 15,000 fans that stopped coming to the stadium when he left, will come back" we had galliani saying, the family just stopped coming...

the very next season after kaka left when we made announcement on season ticket sales, i remember in old goal.com forum discussing how it dropped drastically that it was almost frightening... it was almost shocking..
