I don't think thats a good financial position to take, especially since you're about to splash so much money with Bale.

This guy has already cost 70m + 32m in wages, Madrid stand to lose 16m more if he runs out his contract. under this position, its hard to see any team bidding more than 5m for him.

Better to cut your losses, lick your wounds and retreat.

would love to know all the details in this, exactly what he's on..Madrid let him go free? maybe they got first rights on SES or something.. regardless this is a silly deal just to placate the fans I think, Kaka is past it.

what remains now is just official annoucement from AC Milan website, but milannews.it live says its a done deal.

Good luck to Kaka, I wish him the best. Sadly, he's long time past it and won't be returning the '07 form if Milan think he will.

i dont expect, or any milan fans or kaka fans would expect kaka of glory days, but still he should be upgrade to boateng... the one who becomes that provider in our attacking front.

as for his pace and all i am not worried at all, SES and balotelli's young leg should provide more than enough support for kaka.

milan's problem will come from defense or midfield..

Milans attack is definitely sorted

Midfield is looking strong, the depth is shocking though.

Defence is shambolic.

The worst signing we have ever made, and he never really respected our investment in him, much less even come close doing it right. But he always maintained a fairly dignified approach and never really complained...which is more than I can say for a couple.

I'm relieved I can stop hating him from now on.

defense is abysmal. if anything, there is a pressure from media, regarding sorting our milan defense by making a bid for astori.

zapata is a disaster. that guy is a catastrophe. i remember reading in general section how zapata was piss poor ... i didn't believe at all, defending him as a youngster who bossed in Udinese.

anyway i dont expect kaka to be back from his glory heydeys but, he still would be upgrade from boateng.

i know i will be crucified if i defend him kaka now.. for few reasons.. because of his injuries , because he wasn't playing in his right position (as winger) because he had no confidence under mourinho but still racked up decent goals and assist.

but i understand from fans point of view, real invested massive on his transfer, salaries, and there is always going to be pressure to perform right away.

kaka said playing for real would be dream, but galliani had warned once, that going to new club is to start from zero.

either way i am happy now.

I actually thought Kaka played well under Pellegrini in his first season. The second Mou came though, he went shambolic.

Yeah he's a joke, Mexes is ok but for that defence to work then Milan would need a new CB who could carry even Mexes, and MDS is a bright young player but not ready to play 30+ games tbh.

Milan's fullbacks are good. They need a better keeper and CBs.

to be fair 4m is an alright gamble on someone of Kaka's quality, if he comes good if not well he's a fan favourite. Still think the funds would have been better spent to bring Honda in now.

yes he did. madrid is a club with always high expectations.. kaka was perhaps too passive. milan always was his comfort zone...

with mourinho he always have problems with players right away who is not effective as he wants.

thats why i dont understand 11 million matri investment.... that actually came from allegri.. apparently allegri was given option ... remember after milan won against PSV... galliani allegri and barbara had meeting, and allegri said he wants matri because he didnt know when pazzini would come and he wanted experienced striker to back up balotelli.

i dont know why allegri was super worried with pazzini return. he is scheduled to return by october... he has el sharawwy niang robinho and even saponara soon to be ready anyway! not to mention petagna.

and he gets matri.. instead of defender...

i am not to worried at this point. if milan had s..t strikers... like borriello and all.. he would have been expected to do all on his own...and at his age and fitness obviously he cant do it..

but we got el sharawwy and balotelli who are young and always making differences for us individually... so for kaka this should be a bit burden off his shoulders and just be easy and calm on attack to feed SES and balotelli.

lets not forget, in CL and our first start of games.. balotelli has been assisting goals...

el sharawwy is getting there... actually it seemed milan didnt want to sell boateng at all. this season around, allegri wanted boateng to play as b2b, and he refused...

boateng later came out and said his move to schalke 04 had purely to do with sporting reasons and not racism.

i knew boateng was cocky... actually it was boateng himself demanding to play as AM .. right from beginning...

in his first season he was playing as RM.. or b2b.. which he did pretty well.

Kaka might be a free transfer but Madrid will earn between 8-10 millions if:
1) Milan finish in the top 3 in Serie A
2) Milan pass the first round of CL
