Actually Tom gets what i was saying, What i meant was that basically if Chelsea dont travel far in every competitions they play in they wont be able to give game time to the number of players they have, That's all.

In Hazard he has someone who is more skillful and is willing to tackle and also has good stamina, mata is too light-weight to compete against strong teams, and he gets bullied off the ball at every moment, so i can see the logic behind Jose's thinking/planning

He says he likes wingers who come off the flank onto their strong foot....yet he is going to sign Willian and everyone is rightly assuming he will play on the right..and cut in onto his weaker left foot?

Agreed...you saw Mourinho presser after Manu game and he said why he didnt bring Mata in as a sub. He likes defensive security first and foremost.

MVG is VERY solid defensively and is a good passer. Oscar can also defend when he needs to. Good tackler too. Not much wrong with Gil's idea imo.

Not "when he needs to" he always puts in a shift defensively. He's an incredible defender really, which is the only reason he was favoured over Mata for Utd. Watch games you clowns instead of focusing on his slight build and the players he's surrounded by.

Van Ginkel on the other hand is terrific defensively as my boy already alluded to. 6'2, very good in the air and physically gifted, excellent stamina, pace & work rate and his tackles are always clean and crisp.

Disagree on him being an excellent passer though. His distribution is incredibly inconsistent.

That's the team I'd play. Lamps has lost his mobility and Ramires is being misused.

Oscar already played in the pivot for Rafa and RDM.Van ginkel is a DM.Nothing wrong with that tbh

"Good passer", not "excellent passer" and yes, I think he's a good passer at least going by what I've seen.

Oscar has had some average defensive performances(although his average is still better than Mata ) but he does seem to be more consistent these days, that I agree. The way I see it, he'll improve defensively under Mou.

tbh, this lineup had crossed my mind as well, I dont think we would see it very soon, but once we get a little more experience to them I would love to see oscar play the gundogon role, he has the talent and skills neccecary for it.

Also there is a reason i stopped arguing with you, Also not once i said you'll clear out everyone. You assumed that i meant every player will go, Mass clearout doesn't mean every player. You came up with the shitty Torres example and got LFC into this which also made no sense . I saw no point continuing but you win.

Mass clearout meaning most of the players will leave. I brought up the Liverpool example to differentiate situations because its clear(whether you admit it or not), you're judging based on that. Apparently you didn't understand the Torres example either. But you're right, there's no point arguing with you.

Yeah, Mourinho won't play that lineup.

I can only hope that he rotates the team well.
