Spanish Liga football club Real Madrid will show its official television channel for free over the internet from September 1, according to the Diario AS newspaper.

Real Madrid TV is currently accessible through pay-television operator Canal Plus in Spain, but AS said that the club is keen to increase the channel’s viewing figures.

The channel will be streamed in high-definition on the internet and the newspaper reported that the channel had also acquired rights to the German Bundesliga, the top division of football in the country, including some live coverage as well as highlights.

This is one of 4 current projects designed to increase Real Madrid's global brand name and increase brand awareness.

The Island on Dubai, the Real Madrid Foundation and the upcoming stadium redesign which will make it completely interactive in and outside of the ground.

Can't watch it in France. Bein Sport bought exclusive bundi rights for the territory... sure it's similar in other countries where exclusive bundi rights have been sold. You can see it anywhere that bundi rights are still open i assume...

Just get yourselves a spanish proxy and you will have streams easily available to you

I use a firefox addon for Netflix that makes the US catalogue available to me, very easy to use and haven't noticed a drop down in video quality.
