WHAT A F*CKING GAME
LUCAS HAS BEEN AMAZING
AGGER HAS BEEN AMAZING
Aspas is really warmed up to me, I love the guy. He's really skillful and hard working. Mkh would've been sooooo perfect in that Allen role right now. Allen should've had a hattrick ffs.
GERRARD WHAT A MAN. He's a beauty to watch. I have no words just tears

Halftime 1-0
Really happy with the way the team has been playing... A little more final product and it could be 4 or 5-0.
Defense has been immense. They got what, one shot off this half? And it was off a free kick? Agger+Toure
Gerrard has been all over the field. Our captain is still playing amazingly at his age, I'm ready for him to have an immense season.
Aspas' movement has been incredible, with great passing (what an assist) and some entertaining flicks and turns as well. Loving what he's doing.
Lucas has been a huge part of the defensive performance... he's been everywhere, getting stuck in and making hard tackles. Looking more and more like the pre-injury Lucas with every passing game.
Allen's runs forwards, like I mentioned, have been very impressive. His issue is that he played the same position as Gerrard in the DLP spot and they wouldn't work well together, well he's showing he can be the runner with success in this game. Would've loved better finishing to put away those great chances (that flick from Aspas deserved a goal
) but he's been getting away from defenders regularly and creating space in the box getting forward. I love it.
Johnson and Enrique have both been presences going forward, although haven't been tested on the back line really at all. Enrique I felt was a little sloppy with his passing, we need to get someone in to put pressure on him.
Coutinho has been more invisible than we've seen him... ever. It'll happen at times, and he HAS had some nice passes and moments, so not totally useless.
Overall there isn't much to criticize in the team so far. Better finishing please.

Aspas is the real deal. Bargain as things are right now.
Allen should have had a hat trick ffs.
Enjoying the team's workrate and chemistry.
Glad Coutinho is having an average game, He needs some of these to remind him he still has a lot of tuning up to do.

That right side of our team has the most attacking potential and the worst decision making.

I think he and Agger will dominate lower teams as a partnership with their intelligence and tactics, but I'd love to see another starting 11 CB come in (or some sort of guarantee that Skrtel's staying and coming back into form). I think Toure should be third choice and used in games against more physical sides, rather than the technical teams, and will have a major influence on our defensive play this year if we do it like that. Him getting torched by something like Tottenham's speedy front line will just harm his confidence and be useless though.

Mignolet not looking on top of his game today, first mistakes we've seen from him. Definitely needs to work with BR on some of his decision making in distribution.

NO he just limped the last minute. But it seemed serious. He couldn't even walk. Hopefully it's just a bruise.
