Roura is a brilliant coach. Please make him your permanent coach with a 25 yr contract with a termination fee of $ 2 Billion

Luis Enrique.
If he didn't do well this season, Barcelona should go for Klopp next season!

Apparently Barca are holding talks with Enrique and Martino and in the coming hours it'll be decided who's coach, according to Sport.

Re: Official: Tata Martino has just officially announced his resignation from Barcelona
Martino is 100% available and has no contract
Enrique just signed a contract with Celta and has been getting a bunch of ex Barca B players for the new season (Fontas, Nolita, Rafinha). Would be shitty on his end to leave Celta before actually managing an official match with them. Martino will more than likely be the guy. Im pretty excited about him. A new manager, new direction. Enrique would try do his best Pep imitation, as did Tito and Roura. It's time for a new direction

Do Barca have any past connection with Martino?

Luis enrique will look like a c*nt if he leave Celta at this time..it is too late for them to find a replacement and start a project but again it is Luis Enrique..

So, he should reject Barca's offer? This could be the turning point in his coaching career!

Spanish federation sources say Celta has not yet registered Luis Enrique, which would make it possible for him to join Barcelona. [sport barcastuff]

Yes obviously he should reject the offer at this point of time.He has used almost all the transfer fund available on players that fits his system and we are on the verge of new season..Is there enough time for Celta to find a replacement? No. Is there any money or targets left for the new manager ? no. Again it is luis enrique...so i cant rule out a C+nt move
Re: Official: Tata Martino has just officially announced his resignation from Barcelona
Have to agree with Adit on this one. Would be a total douche move on Enrique to turn away on the project Celta has started for him. Imagine Rafinha, who picked Celta to play with his former B couch now having no manager? Seriously, Enrique should finish what he starts. Celta obviously had full support for him givin the amount of dedication they have given him in the transfer window...he should return it. Even if it's just for this one season.

This could be Luis Enrique's only chance to coach Barcelona, the team that have Messi & Iniesta (at peak), Xavi, Neymar etc....
Not taking this chance would be stupid!

Funny how much you care about Celta...
You just hate Enrique because he moved from RM to Barca when he was a player...

Rafinha moved to Celta because he wanted to be close to his family... Also, Rafinha was with Barca U19 when Enrique was coaching the B Team.
If its true that Barca wants Enrique to be their new coach, it would be stupid to reject such offer!

I'm not saying it wouldn't be stupid to not take it. I mean for MOST managers on the planet it's a once in a life time opportunity to manage a club like Barca
What I am saying is that he it would be a total douche move on Celta if he took it. Considering the control over the transfers they have given him so far and trust in him for this upcoming season. Celta would be left with going for a solid manager to having no one in the matter of what....2 months since he signed? Total douche move. I think he should stay at Celta at least a season and repay there faith in him. Besides, he proved nothing at Roma that lead me to believe he is a world class. One full season with Celta might show where he is nowadays.

THIS
I'm not saying he's world class, neither was Guardiola when joined Barcelona... Its about the philosophy IMO.

Re: Official: Tata Martino has just officially announced his resignation from Barcelona
I think the problem with the club is that they are trying to get Pep's disciples. None of them are going to be as good as he was. It was his vision. Now we have Roura, Tito, and Enrique who are trying to do there best Pep impersonation. I think it's time we try something new; and would rather the club give Tata a chance

Not sure that's a good enough reason for him to be a candidate.

that's not the reason. Him getting Paraguay to the final of the Copa America, and almost knocking out Spain at the WC 10 + his Newell Old Boys getting to the semis of the Libertadores is what is getting him noticed. He is also of the Biesla school, likes possession with short passes and to attack.
