Napoli offer €27m for Jovetic?

Napoli have reportedly dived in with a €27m offer for Stevan Jovetic, as Fiorentina are concerned at the lack of interest.

The Montenegro international has been given a €30m price-tag and the Viola insist they’ll only accept cash.

Juventus director Beppe Marotta said in a Press conference yesterday that they were pulling out of the race for the time being, as relations with the Tuscan club are “difficult.”

According to newspaper Il Mattino, Napoli hope to take advantage by diving in with a proposal worth €27m.

There would also be a five-year contract for Jovetic worth €2.6m per season.

He had seemed to be set for a Premier League move, but Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea have not made the right offer.

Napoli would raise the funds by selling Edinson Cavani, as today Spanish and French sources suggest PSG are prepared to pay the €63m buy-out clause.

It’s reported Fiorentina are increasingly concerned that the situation is dragging on, as they cannot sign Mario Gomez from Bayern Munich until one of their forwards is sold.

There are also claims in some quarters that the Viola could sell Adem Ljajic in order to keep Jovetic and Gomez.

If true and Fiorentina sells him to Napoli, that would be a joke. FIorentina's direct competitor is more likely to be Napoli, not Juve, next season especially if Napoli is without Cavani.

That would just show how childish the Fiorentina lot are being.

If I was Juventus I would formally block all future negotiations with Fiorentina, and I would ask Ljajic to wait a year and join Juventus on a free.

they made it plain and simple, give us 30m get Jovetic, it is Marotta who s playing hard ball not Fiorentina, even if they would discount it, am very sure 27m is agreeable than 10m plus whicheever players we are offering, I personally don't blame Fiorentina, we are too cheap....yet when it comes to our case, how quick we are to overprice Vucinic when we know very well he is not worth that much,

please either blame our transfer gurus or stop moaning....
