We are trying to get him trust me Conte loves him and he is still 1st on his wish list seems like we've given up from CB signing. I am sure Ogbonna will be used as LB in 4-4-2 or something like MDS is used for Italy.

So Fiorentina allegedly lower their asking price, so Marotta lowers his offer instead of keeping a similar one to the ones already made and snapping him up without any hastle.

Doesn't seem like a smart move. Just because his price tag lowers, doesn't mean our budget should too.

However, I have faith in Marotta.

Nah that offer was never truely lodged. Our last offer that apparantly went through was something like 18m + either player.


Plus, Fiorentina need to sell him. Because they want to buy another striker with the funds. And you can't buy a new striker and expect that person + G. Rossi + Jovetic to all compete for two spots.

The new striker will not arrive for anything less than a starting roll, they obviously never bought Rossi to bench him, so long as he regains form and Jovetic would obviously not be content with competing for a spot in a Europa league team when the champions are after him as a big summer signing.

What you said is so true. I hate it when media make stuff up. LOL I completely forgot about Rossi.. No way Ljajic, Gomez, Jovetic, and Rossi will be on the seem team.
