Carlos Tevez has touched down on Italian soil ahead of his transfer from Manchester City to Juventus.

The two clubs finalised a €12m deal last night and the Argentine has already arrived on the peninsula to complete the move.

The Argentine landed at Milan’s Malpensa airport at 15.17 local time. He will now undergo his medical examination in Turin on Thursday.

The striker, 29, is expected to put pen to paper on a three-year contract in Turin worth €5.5m a season after tax.

I'm getting a Tevez 10 jersey and trusting the fact that he will stay for a while at Juve

then again jersey numbers are like announced somewhere in August before the season starts, so it is not certain he will get #10.... I bet #32 when all is said and done....

there is no problem that Tevez got number 10, but this shows weakness from juve's side, it shows that juve had to promise him number 10 to bring him in torino, i think that number 10 should be given to a young player, maybe jovetic in this case, juventus is not identified by numbers, but still number 10 should be given to a player who is capable of writing history with our club, tevez will probably be this good for 2-3 years.

So you guys forgot Nedved already...You think that Tevez aint worth to wear no.10 but De Ceglie is real juve superstar and legend and he can wear no 11. Same with no. 17 (trezeguet ) its just a number ffs

At the end of the day, in a club like Juventus plenty of numbers are significant. It would be unreasonable to try and give all the numbers just to elite players.
