Nevertheless, I do agree we should be able to field a few more youth in this one, but it's important regardless to remember that a dream tie at home against one of the PL heavyweights will have them well up for this and playing at their absolute peak and it would be insane to go in there with the attitude that it's already won before a ball's been kicked – something our team, sadly, has something of a history of doing.


Let's not forget what happened to Arsenal against Bradford a few seasons back. Think Liverpool were knocked out by Oldham a year or two ago, as well.

Thing is we've been using that line for well over a year now.


We play poorly against average sides then excuse it away with the 'missed chances' card.


Let's not forget the number of chances they had themselves, particularly towards the end where they very probably should have equalised.

Obivously City and Pool are the biggest challenges.

I think this is a title we could well win.

Indeed. But let's not count out Soton either. They've been superb this year. Probably more of a challenger for it than Pool, for me.


Ideally a draw against Shef U or Derby for us and something like City vs Saints or Liverpool to guarantee another favourite is out would be nice.
