Salary cap? LOL, I doubt that anyone on this site actually wants a cap on anything. Everyone here is a supporter of one of the leading clubs in their respective leagues, you can kiss that imbalance bye bye if a cap is implemented.
Considering most of you wouldn't support the team you support if they didn't constantly win, I doubt this is what you truly want.

i would personally love to see malaga getting such a big player, but i doubt it. it would be nice to see la liga becoming less of a two-horse race..

Carzola to Malaga? Anyone thinks they'll end up struggling after all these signings...

they would with a mediocre coach, but Pelle is too good to let than happen. I expect a top six finish.

Re: What the hell are Malaga doing?
I really like Cazorla, 19 million is riduculous for him. Hell, we had a bid refused for him a while ago, I dont remember the details though. He had an amazing season, going by The Inflated Market Prices (TM) he is worth 30 million.

This is a good deal for Malaga especially as they got him for less than 20 mil.

Re: What the hell are Malaga doing?
Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla has admitted that his transfer to Malaga is close to being finalised.
Negotiations have moved quickly and smoothly for the Spain international, with both clubs set to agree on a fee in the region of €22 million, while personal terms are expected to be concluded soon.
Cazorla, who has also reportedly wished farewell to his team-mates at El Madrigal, has affirmed to AS that negotiations are on the verge of completion, with a deal possibly being thrashed out as soon as Tuesday afternoon.
"The club needs to sell [this summer] and I've made the final decision. Everything is being finalised and finally a new chapter is about to begin in my life," he stated.
It is also widely believed that the presence of former mentor Manuel Pellegrini at Malaga has played a considerable part in the transfer, as the publication also states that the Chilean coach requested the purchase of the player from owner Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani.
It was thought that Premier League side Arsenal had also expressed an interest in signing Cazorla, but it appears that the ambitious Andalucian outfit are set to add another impressive arrival in an already busy transfer window, after securing the likes of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Joaquin and Jeremy Toulalan.

Would be very interesting to hear what wages these big signings are on. Low taxes in Spain for footballers, too. Maybe Malaga are simply trashing out huge wages so the players are eager to join and transfer fees remain lower than gigantic.

Re: What the hell are Malaga doing?
Ok, now Malaga can be Champions League candidates. Outsiders, but they have a big chance of landing in the top 6. In fact, they should probably be dissapointed if they dont after all this spending.

Re: What the hell are Malaga doing?
he had always been villarreal's go-to man, but injuries hampered his career. wonder what's villarreal's motive for selling him cheap to a potential direct rival
