Ranocchia clarifies Juve comment

Inter have released a statement from Andrea Ranocchia explaining why he said it was “an honour” to be linked with Juventus.

The club took the unusual step after their defender was on the front page of Tuttosport this morning.

“I’ve always said that interest from big clubs in me is nice because it shows the good work I’ve put in over the years at Inter, another reason why I’m proud to wear the Nerazzurri colours.”

Ranocchia has been tipped as one of Antonio Conte’s transfer targets for this summer in Turin, while Manchester United are also thought to be interested.
