Underrated Players

Which players do you think are underrated?

I'll say Diego Lopez, Coentrao and Modric from Real Madrid.

Diego Lopez has been solid whenever he's played. He's made some impressive saves and if he does move on in the Summer, a lot of top clubs should go after him.

People want Coentrao sold, however I'm not sure why. He's solid defensively and is underrated attacking wise. Sure he's no Marcelo, however he's alright when attacking.

Modric. There was a lot of talk about him being a flop, however not playing games doesn't = flop. For those that have watched him (every game) this season, I'm sure they'd agree and say he's done well and he's been impressive.

Khedira and Hernanes

Hazard from Chelsea, third best player in the world right now and is nominated to dethrone at least Ronaldo in the next couple of years.

Kaka from Madrid; second best player after Ronaldo. Madrid never loses when he starts and he scores almost every game he plays and has more assists than the likes of Ozil who despite being a flop is a starter.

IMO Hazard and Oscar are better than Mata.

Hazard's talent is only matched by that of Messi. Ronaldo's a machine but he doesnt have the talent to run through players and defenders like hazard has.

Only Messi is more gifted than Hazard, and only Ronaldo is more efficient.

it has gotten to the point where Nerman actually became underrated he went from the second coming of Pele/top 3 player in the world to just a good player

Nice video.

Technically he is up there, but technical moves and tricks alone does not make one the best football player in the world.

Mata finished with more goals and assists, and took the spot wanted not only by Hazard, but also by the Brazilian #10 and even the greatest goalscorer in the clubs history.

Mata only got the #10 spot because of Benitez.When he got to chelsea,the first thing he did was make Azpilicueta,Romeu (preinjury) and Torres instant starters and he put mata centrally.Under RDM Mata was normally playing as the RW.

I think the consensus is that RDM was about as clueless as AVB.

Mata centrally probably was the best move Chelsea made all year.

Hazard may not even be the third best player in the Premier League right now, much less the third best in the world. (Bale, Suarez, Van Persie, Silva, Yaya Toure, and Mata are all on his level or above it at the moment.)

You can argue about potential all you want. There's no doubt he has immense potential. In fact, that's exactly why Chelsea paid such a high price for him. It wasn't because he was one of the best in the world; it was because he could become one of the best in the world. That said, potential means precisely f***-all until it's realized. There are 12-year-olds on YouTube that have immense potential, but that doesn't mean they will be the next Ronaldo/Messi/Maradona/Pele.

If Mourinho gives him the chance he will prove he's the best. He was unlucky under Rafa's tenure.

gervinho is not underrated

nani won't be any better than what we already saw .

Nani and Gervinho underrated for me for the fact that these two guys are being made scapegoats at their respective clubs when there are clearly more shittier players than them at the club.
