I still have that shred of hope that Poli didn't play all game today because he played more in the other friendlies and they don't want to tire him out for the champions league playoffs coming up. It pained me a great deal to see Muntari, Nocerino, and Prince on the field at the same time. Poli came on was instantly better than all three combined. My mouth waters at the thought of a Monty-De Jong-Poli mid.

hope this is just to protect important players... i cant imagine poli not being regular and muntari or boateng will be... that will suck big time.

every game poli has featured i am impressed he has made some neat passes...thing is... poli plays simple but effective.. he doesnt make careless pass and he makes good intervention. thats where muntari and boateng sucks so bad. when he runs out of options, muntari blasts the ball to nowhere!!! absolutely nowhere... that guy is hopeless
and boateng is show off... how many times he has to raise hand admitting his mistake and find excuse... i mean one or two time is ok on pitch...

so yea guys lets hope that poli montolivo and de jong are the regulars...

btw i have apologies to make to u guys that i actually thought poli is not that good. well he is way better than some of the midfielders we have.

i thought cigarini would have been better but i am impressed by poli as of this moment

I've sadly not been able to catch any of our pre-season games thus far, however given that this game marked the return of Montolivo and Balotelli I would not be in the slightest concerned either by their performances or who else was on the pitch at the same time. We have seen regular rotation of the midfield line-up during pre-season and it's far too early to worry about Poli and Montolivo not lining up together yet when they've had but one chance.

Montolivo---De Jong---Poli will be too powerful for any coach to hold them back.

Seriously, why can't we get rid of the likes of antonini, Boateng and Traore.. I don't see them contributing much to the team, so what's the point in keeping them.. If we can't find buyers for such scrubs, we should just figure a way of rescinding their contracts, I don't think that will take a lot of funds

I think we could actually drop antonini, but only if Abate and De Sci rotate the RB spot, seems like we will use Urby and Constant more often on the LB.. if urby doesn't remain in that spot (given his versatility), then it wouldn't be wise to give in antonini cuz then we'd have little backup on the flanks.

On boateng and Traore, I know most of you have seen Bakaye as a below-par player, but I must admit he's improved alot in the tactical sense in this pre-season, I'd like to see more of him during the season. Boateng, as we all know is a show-off xD He's a good player, but I don't think he's a trequartista at all... if I could use him in the midfield it would be better as a rotation player or a super sub in attack, never again do I wanna see him start Dx

We need Saponara back and hopefully Ljajic to come!

Emanueslson is tragic at left back.

Chyeah..I never really liked him there.. but Allegri's the boss xDD

Allegri is probably just giving Galliani a not so subtle hint on what he can do with Urby in the transfer window.  

I feel sorry for the guy because he would really be much better in a team that plays pure wingers in their midfield. His move to Milan was always destined to be a failure.

I'm proud that NDJ came back strong after his injury, really has impressed me with this pre season and i'm not just talking performances but his attitude too

If Urby can't adapt to the LB role, he should be looking for a new team cos he has no suitable role in our set up

As seen live, Urby just can't play LB. he pushes up too high and doesn't know how to get back and properly track his man. He was at fault in the first goal.

His pace would be very useful to the team but I'm having problems figuring an adequate role for him in the team.. I think it should be LB or bust for him this season

I doubt that.. I know we have an upcoming game against L.A Galaxy. Don't know about any other though

Not to mention there's going to be a friendly against Argentina on Aug. 15th....so many stuff going down before the CL qualifiers :s
