Juventus to target defence in summer

Juventus have identified the defence as an area to strengthen the side this summer, and are looking at AC Milan’s Daniele Bonera and Torino’s Angelo Ogbonna as suitable candidates for that position.

Bonera’s contract expires this summer and could be a serviceable veteran for the Bianconeri who could be attracted to Turin in the same way Andrea Pirlo was with a three year deal.

Angelo Ogbonna is a much more expensive target, but has been a long time target of the Italian champions, who are impressed by the Italian’s versatility and ease in the left-back position, which is another position Juventus could strengthen with the 25 year old’s arrival.

Is it true, does Conte actually think our defence is the problem?


I'm more than happy to get a LWB and a great back up CB. But defence is the least of our concerns.

Only some special talents such as: NEDVED, DROGBA, PIRLO, SEEDORF, POYOL, can manage to play good even when they are 36 years old, because they are too much talented and they don't depend too much on the speed or stamina...

So I think JUVENTUS should plant seeds and not trust too much some players that don't seem to be too much talented and are becoming + 28 years old...

having someone like POGBA on the team, makes me more comfortable...
