Falcao, Moutinho, and Rodriguez will compliment Andrea Raggi very well.

Re: AS Monaco superteam
if that's confirmed, holy crap 45m for James!?!? He's good (and young) but NOT that good. Seems almost as overpriced as Witsel imho. Stupid Secco, should have signed him years ago when he was offered to us. Could have made a cool 45msportsczy wrote:It's 70 mil lol. 45 for Rodriguez and 25 for Moutinho.
Have to say Moutinho for 25m is a pretty good piece of business though. Surprised a bigger club wasn't interested.

I read on a french website that Sporting had a clause that gave them a percentage of Moutinho's sell fee. So apparently to minimize Sporting's cut Porto lowered the sell value of Moutinho and increased that of Rodriguez since they knew that Monaco was making a bid for both players.

Diego Lopez being linked with Monaco.
We should increase Diego's buyout while Monaco are not looking. Make a cool 60 million :trollucas:

Falcao at Monaco for 60 millions
Falcao is awaited for tomorrow in Monaco.
They just came from Ligue 2, they play no european competition. They have no public. Total money whore this falcao.
Even PSG did not spend this on a player.

Re: AS Monaco superteam
If that's true, I hope Atlético spend that money wisely. They're in Champions League and €60 million is a lot of money to spend on reinforcements.
However, it is a shame that Falcao put aside footballing reasons for money alone. A great player that we'll rarely get to watch now

Re: AS Monaco superteam
Atletico only get €20 mil of the 60... they only own 1/3 of Falcao lol.

Re: AS Monaco superteam
So Atlético didn't pay all the €40 million for him when signing him from Porto?
Re: AS Monaco superteam
Nah atleti only paid like 17 for him and I recently read an article that he doesn't have a choice where he goes unless a team buy him outright

Re: AS Monaco superteam
Falcao has final approval rights... so he does get a big say. The issue is that in England, there's a regulation where you can only buy 100% of a player's rights... no partials. So it becomes complicated with players that have 3rd party investors. As an example, Benfica had to buy out all of David Luiz' 3rd parties to sell him to Chelsea... A lot of UK teams get turned off by players who are partially owned as a result. Too complicated.
The only clubs that could afford Falcao were Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Monaco and the russian clubs. Madrid has a gentleman's agreement with Atleti, so they were out. Bayern and PSG didn't want to pay the fee. So that left Monaco and the russian clubs. He took the best option actually.
He also gets a wage of 12 mil tax free.

Thank you the people of Soviet Union for living in poverty for decades for a few scumbags to now own billions. Viva Capitalism.
Re: AS Monaco superteam
Berlusconi did the exact same thing in the 80s with Milan btw. Milan went to Serie B came back to Serie A in 1983 but were on the verge of bankruptcy in 1985. Berlusconi bought them in 1986... then splashed the most money ever in 1987 by buying Van Bastern, Gullit and Rijkaard in one summer.

Re: AS Monaco superteam
Nkoulou of OM, Irimat-Mirin of Valencienne and Mangala of Porto are the ones they are after most. Also Aurier of Toulouse, Sakho of PSG if he becomes available, etc. Sagna of Monaco should pop in if PSG are not interested.
They are looking at Ligue 1 or french players for defense.

Two Colombians
Now Atl. should invest in another striker such as Bacca or Pabon.

Falcao will be watching the Monte Carlo Grand Prix from the balcony of his luxury suite at the Hotel De Paris every year. He's not going to just be rich, he's going to be rich in Monaco and all the glamour that comes with the south of France. Amazing move tbh, I totally wish I was in his position

Re: AS Monaco superteam
It makes me sick this.
A player of his quality shouldn't opt to go play for those bunch of scrubs in a league hardly anyone watches other than French people.
what a waste.

Yet we have better tactics, more attractive footy and develop better players than your wonderful EPL Wonder why a player would take substance over hype.
Of all the leagues in Europe... there's a reason everyone refers to EPL as the "d*nkey league". Ask yourself why...
