Lisandro? As in Lisandro Lopez?
I agree with RG, he has already peaked. Won't get any better now.

You really weren't aware that Monaco is a tax haven?
It sort of balances out though considering how ridiculous the price of buying property in Moncao is. Of course it only really matters to the moderately rich, not the super duper elite.

you can rent in Monaco and become a resident if you're moderately rich Buying property is almost impossible even if you're ungodly rich there. Total population is 36k lol.Zealous wrote:You really weren't aware that Monaco is a tax haven?

If you look in the "transfers" box on the left, the €60 mil transfer to Monaco for Falcao is already recorded and dated July 1st. This is a reputable site... wonder if they know something

Re: AS Monaco superteam
Recently promoted Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco have reportedly made formal offers to Barcelona for both left-back, Dani Alves and goalkeeper, Victor Valdes.
According to Spanish radio station’s Cadena COPE programme, El Partido de las 12, Monaco, who recently made waves by reportedly signing Atletico Madrid striker, Radamel Falcao on a €60 million are looking to strengthen their side even further by adding Alves and Valdes to the squad.
Monaco is owned by Russian Billonaire , Dmitry Rybolovlev who has made known that he intends to rival the top clubs, by spending big.
This is not the first time that Valdes has been linked with Monaco, as the veteran keeper as adamantly refused to negotiate a contract extension with the club and wishes to leave when his contract expires in June 2014.
The club has stated that they intend for Valdes to see out his contract, but reports have recently surfaced that they are willing to listen to offers, while searching for the club’s next stopper.
As of now, it is unknown how much the offer was for and neither side has commented on the report, but Rybolovlev has also reportedly inquired on the price of Barcelona target, Brazilian forward, Neymar.

Subašić (Monaco GK) interviewed in Sportske novosti.
'Boss announced he'll spend €100M+ on transfers this summer, on 5-6 world class players'
Subašić says Falcao is expected to sign within days, the only thing that could spoil the deal is if Real Madrid want him.
'But that doesn't look likely now', Subašić said. 'If Falcao doesn't go to Bernabeu, he'll definitely join us'.

Interesting part is that he says Monaco have over €100 million transfer budget for the summer. Well, they have 3 years to balance the books lol.

Luis Fernandez, great former player and very well respected current journalist, say that the announcement of Falcao will be made after the CDR for Monaco. He also hinted that Valdes and Alves from Barca will also be announced in the coming week.
Only one i'm not excited about is Valdes. But there's worse. I'm sure he didn't cost much.

I hate it when people talk about scoring in the CL as if it's some entirely different animal than scoring anywhere else. Tevez has scored in Argentina, in Brazil, in England, in the WC. Granted he's not the most prolific goalscorer but that's not all he does is it? He's an SS and consequently also has creative responsibilities and has a fair number of assists in his time at the EPL to show for it.
Yeah but he doesn't though.... as i said he's overrated and meh.
Works hard and scores a goal now and again but that is it not really CL quality, the Jonas of CFs.
He had a good run a couple of years back but other than that his goal return is very average and he doesn't create much either.
What does he actually do consistently other than work hard? his goal return through out his career isn't that good apart from a couple of exceptions and he doesn't really create anything.
A CF who doesn't score consistently and a SS who doesn't create is CL level
I don´t think you have been watching him carefully enough. I don´t know what you are watching. Carried all goal scoring for city for two years. When he was shunned he came back fat and still outperformed Balo and Dzeko and was mostly on par with Aguero. This year he could have replaced Nasri and even Silva in their own positions.
Seriously. Just watch how he plays. People give Benzema credit for his build up play but he has nothing on Tevez. Many people don´t pick up on his play. If his teamates could finish many of his passes he would have more assists , and if his teammates could supply him better he would score more goals.
Not to mention half his goals are first strikes and that he has been the difference between drawing and winning
With Aguero he had to share space, and with Dzeko he has to play behind. He has not had managers who have used him correctly internationally or domestically. I dont know what youve been smoking but ¨meh¨ is not how I would describe Tevez. Fine, he isnt your kind of player, but you cant deny his talent.

Monaco has always been my favourite french team for some reason i started liking them in the old fifas and they sold henry and trezeguet to juve plus they have a cool stadium. I think they should try and buy kovacic from inter they have a track record for selling young talents and they may just be stupid enough to let him go to monaco

Re: AS Monaco superteam
Actually you can buy a whole squad in France in one transfer window. Remember that French players are relatively cheap. All Monaco need to do is get 4-5 top players and then fill the squad out with quality in the league.
They already have Ocampos, Germain, Ibrahima Toure, Emmanuel Riviere, etc. They have some quality already.

With falcao in the picture how will all those CFs get minutes?I think they would do well to get a GK and some defenders and mids.

Re: AS Monaco superteam
Germain and Ocampos are more wing players. Riviere will back up Falcao. Toure will be gone.
You're going to see them buy a ton of player. I mean they are set to buy an entire starting lineup apparently.
But to give you perspective... Newcastle bought Goufran, Mbiwa, Sissoko and Haidara for about €20mil total. So it's fairly easy to do in France.

According to l'Equipe, negotiations are over and the Moutinho + Rodriguez are coming to Monaco for a total of approximately 50 mil.
Very good deal. 50 mil is the correct price.
