Alonso is very immobile, but that's not his job. Similar to Pirlo in that he just sits there in the center of the pitch and distributes. The problem is more that from what ive seen, you guys use Khedira as a pure DM where hes much better as a B2B like he is for Germany. Its no coincidence that just months ago at the Euro Khedira was one of Germany's best players, constantly roaming all over the pitch, having loads of chances on goal and still doing defensively work. Hes a defense-first minded B2B, but not a pure DM. This is just from what ive seen of him at Madrid though, as although ive seen a lot of Germany games, Ive only been able to catch the big Madrid games like the Classicos and CL games.

Coentrao is good at some things and bad at others.... you practically have no RB, Pepe and Ramos is well documented and Varane while ridiculously good for his age has shown against Man Yoo, Gala and Dortmund why he's a kid.

Yeh we did well when Varane-Albiol played for some matches a few months ago. Both of them are just defenders who stick to the basics which makes them solid.

Thought he was younger than that even so very few defenders consistently start for elite clubs without any hiccups at that age.

20 is a baby's age for a defender, won't reach his prime until his early 30s most likely.

Ramos and Pepe are just too rash in their decision making and positioning for me it creates far too many holes.

Actually if you consider the 4 matches as a mini-league, you'd have

Dortmund: 7 points, 8 goals for, 4 goals against
Real: 1 point, 4 goals for, 8 goals against

So even if Real win the second leg, Dortmund was superior 1 vs 1.

Oh, and in the last three seasons, Dortmund won 2 leagues even though they had FCB as opponent, 1 cup vs Real's 1 league, possibly 1 cup, also with FCB as opponent, of course. Again Dortmund win

They have proven that they can challenge the best, they certainly outplayed Madrid and i do think imo that they are the superior team

But i dont want to jinx this for Tuesday, i've fallen in love with Klopp's Dortmund
