Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
Should be a good game. Both sides with their tactical pressing and defending. Will be interesting to see how either side creates chances. Bayern will most likely dominate possession, however they know Dortmund are good defensively and on the counter.

Can't see anything past a Bayern win. They are ridiculously strong this year and are driven by sheer determination after last year final loss.
But in saying that, anything can happen in a one off game, I guess.

Oddchecker has something like Bayern @ 1.5, Dortmund @ 2.8.

Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
I think it will be a very close game, Dortmund and Bayern games have been so this season.
I think the 20 point lead is confusing a lot of people that Bayern are superior in every way imaginable thing is they are not.
Where Bayern blows Dortmund away is their depth affording them to rest a whole team and beat most teams while Dortmund cannot do this.
Their first 11s difference in quality is minimal though.
With that said i do expect Bayern to edge it 2-1 but i do hope Dortmund win it.

Judging by Klopp's comments last night it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest

Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
Screw worrying about revealing to much, I want to destroy Dortmund and remove anything left of their spirit so when the day comes for the Champions League final they already know how it will end and Bayern can lift another Cup without breaking a sweat.

Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
Translation: Torn thigh muscle. Will be back for the UCL final easily.
Will miss the Bayern Bundesliga clash though. But he might've been benched there anyway. All players will get a good rest in the league.

Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
Dress rehearsal with mostly the second team, you mean. Obviously Jupp and Kloppo want to stay secretive with their true tactics before the big one
Hm... Kloppo should have started Mitch Langerak, IMO. The boy has never lost against Bayern so far
Oh! Manuel Neuer starts as Bayern's captain today! Coolness!

Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
Gotze set to undergo further scans ahead of Champions League final
The Germany international came through a truncated training session on Tuesday after sustaining a thigh injury but appeared to suffer some discomfort
Borussia Dortmund will be sweating on the fitness of Mario Gotze ahead of Saturday's Champions League final clash with Bayern Munich.
The Germany international has been out of action since suffering a thigh injury in the semi-final against Real Madrid at the end of April.
The club were hopeful that he would be fit in time for the showpiece clash at Wembley and he returned to full training on Tuesday.
However, after an hour with his team-mates, the 20-year-old was seen shaking his head, having tweaked his injured muscle.
The club insisted that he was due to leave the session early but he will undergo further scans on Wednesday to ascertain whether he can feature on Saturday.

Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
I'm finding it hard to get excited about this final, due to the fact I'm never a fan of European cup finals with same league teams.
Will def still watch tho'. No question about that.

Re: Bayern vs Dortmund - CL Final
I am torn between supporting either instiutions. On one hand Dortmund are carrying the torch for teams that are rebuilding and coming from small means, on the other hand Bayern are playing with Dutch principles, while retaining the atypical German functionality.
The real winner will be football and common sense, and the pricniples of Rinus Michels will be on full display. Once again Durch football's influence cannot be understated.
