I reiterate again, with the price he's going for, Tottenham will NOT be going for Mkhitrayan. Doesn't really make sense, anyway, now that Paulinho is official. Tottenham have higher priorities anyway: A striker and then probably a winger.

I doubt we would be going after Jovetic. He would cost more in terms of fees as well as wages and he has more suitors and ambitious than Henrikh.

We must improve our current attack of Sturridge, Coutinho, Suarez & Downing with Downing being the obvious weak-link.

Does seem at least a little strange that a deal with BVB hasn't been completed yet, especially considering that BVB management had supposedly flown to Donetsk to complete it on Friday.

yeah i think we are showing interest in jorginho frm some time. I think if we are going to miss Mkhi, better get someone like eriksen, jovetic, it is better we dont go for young potential like jorginho

Initially i had the same idea but it turns out Jorginho is more off a CM/DM not a CAM. So, most likely back-up for Lucas.

The CAM position for me would be our Marquee for this Window!! BRING ON SOME BIG NAMES!!! cheers

He is a box-to-box mid and will play in Hendo's role or Lucas' when required. Might or might not be a backup. Who knows..

Good signing for me. Better than spending three times more money on Mkhitaryan.

Don't want us to overspend any more. Tired of seeing overspent flops every now and then. The risk involved is obviously huge.

Once I had said too that spending fortunes for Mkhi is not a great idea but sometimes we can take risk with such a signing. I am not sure whether to call it as a risk because of today's crazy market. I have no doubt someone like Mkhi would have helped us to convert those boring draws into wins.

I would have had no problems with signing him if the asking price was around €15m. But €30m is too much for someone who has only proved himself so far in the Ukrainian Premier League.

There's a big difference between Dutch and Ukrainian leagues. Shakhtar has practically no competition left in the Ukrainian league.

PSV were topping the league until the last few gameweeks when they bottled it up after their loss to Ajax. Ajax didn't really sweep apart the league right from the word go.

there is no doubt that 30mi was kinda overpaying for him. But he was worth that risk, if you have seen him not only for shakhtar but when he played against italy and denmark. He has intelligent movement, good decision making, pace, can finish most of the chances, powerful shot from outsie the box.
