she has since grown on me... i think it was more the character change-up than the actual actress quality that startled me... The young Rhaenyra was a rebellious, curious boygirl akin to Arya Stark... while the older one is all motherly.

Well the young Rhaenyera didn’t have kids, I suppose things change when you actually physically have a child to take care of Very Happy

I’m just catching up to the finale and the casting is so good, when you contrast it with the Witcher especially Laughing

Really liked the first season. I have no idea about the lore but how come all the characters names are very similar? I felt very confused and had backtrack alot.

I guess the simple answer is that its a show about royal families and its customary for royal families to reuse the same names over and over.

I just finished watching The Last Kingdom recently and they have:

Æthelred
Æthelflaed
Aelflaed
Æthelstan
Aelfric
Aelfweard
Aethelhelm
Aetholwold
Aelfwynn

That was a real conondrum.
