Not sure why Sanchez is starting. Tello and Villa deserve to start over him.

Because Tello is a 1-dimensional 1-trick pony without much workrate who kicks the ball 5 meters infront of himself and tries to catch it faster than the defender. Pedro-Alexis for workrate on the wings obviously. Villa doesn't have the legs for that anymore.

Sanchez has been in pretty good form. Works hard as well which will be required against Bayern

Pedro has a much superior work rate to those two. The problem without Villa is the goalscoring though, playing both Pedro and Alexis limits us to just Messi...

Oh well Bayern will play football so it shouldn't be a problem.

Tello can be 1 dimensional, however he's quick and makes good runs in behind the defense. His finishing is also good.

I used to think that of him, although hes much improved lately rather than 1-dimensional... still I agree with Pedro and Sanchez. Them 2 provide more overall to the game in terms of workrate, pulling defenders, creating chances. Pedro on and off this season but his finishing is deadly always, and Sanchez on good form. Confident as usual Messi in big games.... although we tend to be too cautious in first legs....

Bayern is undoubtedly the world's best this year, Barcelona had ups and downs but still are a formidable team.

I expect Munich to win by a large margin at home (3+ goals), they're simply too good to be matched.
