Personally, i see Bayern with the slight advantage. Bayern have the best attack in the world, the best defense in the world when it comes to goals conceded. I would alsi say that Schweinsteiger this season has been better than Xavi. Plus they have great confidence after just beating Juve and Arsenal and winning the Bundesliga in record time. It really comes down to the fact that Bayerns defense can hold Barcas attack a hell of a lot better than Barcas defense can hold Bayerns attack. I say 3-1 Bayern at the Allianz and 2-2 at Camp Nou.
Also, those bring up thr Euro final are forgetting that that match is an exception. Prandelli tried out new tactics at the wrong time, we lost Chiellini ten minutes into the match and we went down to 10 men for the whole second half after Thiago Motta, our last sub, got injured. When Italy played wiyh a familiar formation and with a full squad, it ended 1-1. Didnt Italy actually have more possession than Spain too? And i would say Juve is better than Italy. Italy may have bettet individual forwards but Juve plays together all year long and clubs are almost always better. Yet Bayern dominated possession in the first leg against Juve and still slightly won the possessipn battle in the second leg too. So those of you who think Barca will dominate possession like 65-70% are crazy.
Anyone who thinks Barca will have a difficult game are out of their minds.
Also lol at Bayern having the best attack and defense in the world.
Bayern Munich: 10 goals conceded in the CL
Barcelona: 10 goals conceded in the CL

Re: FCB vs FCB
Bayern have the best defensive record in the world and an attack made up of Kroos, Muller, Robben, Ribery, Shaqiri, Gomez, Pizarro, and Mandzukic is easily the best in the world.
And i doubt anyone other than you and some idiotic Barca fanboys thinks this will be easy for Barca. Bayern are the most in form team in Europe, have been simply the best team in the world this season, and have been among the best in the world for 3-4 seasons now.

Tbf only 4 , max, will play at a time.
villa--messi--pedro..........vs.......ribery--mandzukic--robben
-------iniesta------------- ------------------kroos ............... ..............
-alba--------alves-------------------alaba----------lahm
madrid also have a good attack ; cr7, benz, dimara, oezil
Bayern's squad depth is impressive but only a few (if any), from that team will walk into barca's first team. (Not including the CB positions though )

Re: FCB vs FCB
Even if only 4 play at a time. Messi is the best but the others are the worst. Kroos and Iniesta are more midfielders so i shouldnt have included Kroos. So lets compare:
Messi is the best, better than Ribery, Robben, Muller, Shaqiri, and the 3 strikers. Problem is, all of those Bayern players with the exception of Shaqiri are better than any other Barca attacker.
Add in that Bayern has much better depth and it just shows more that Bayerns attack is better.
Also, Neuer, Lahm, Alaba, Dante, Schweinsteiger, Ribery, and Robben/Muller would all break into Barcas XI.

Re: FCB vs FCB
Surely Barcelona's forwards aren't the "best in the world" considering how Messi scores almost 50% of their goals.

I wouldn't count villa-pedro out just yet. These guys are some of the ultimate big game players in he world as you've seen vs Madrid (copa), France, Milan.
IICR, villa vs was on a 14 game scoring drought going into the CL final vs United. We all saw what happened. Alves, valdes and alba are also in great form atm.
Saying 8 of Bayern's first teamers can break into barca's first team is a bit of a stretch.
LOL @ muller being better than villa.

Dante - BMGjuventus101 wrote:Yea thats just stupid. Lets see, tye starting XI and general squad:
Neuer - Schalke
Lahm - Bayern
Dante - Bayern
Boateng - Man City
Badstuber - Bayern
Van Buyten - No idea
Alaba - Bayern
Schweinsteiger - Bayern
Kroos - Leverkusen, but originally from Bayern
Martinez - Bilbao
Gustavo - Hoffenheim
Tymoschuk - Somewhere in Ukraine
Robben - Madrid
Ribery - Marseille
Muller - Bayern
Mandzukic - Wolfsburg
Gomez - Stuttgart
Pizarro - Bremen
Shaqiri - Base
So out of all those important players in the squad, only 5 came from other Bundesliga teams.
Van Buyten - HSV
Tymo - Zenit St.Petersburg
Pizza was a long-time Bayern player and only had a comparatively short stint at Werder.
Toni Kroos and David Alaba were loaned to Leverkusen and Hoffenheim and only recalled to Bayern.

First of all, I was talking historically...I dont know how you can deny that Bayern dont take more or less whoever they like from other German clubs...
Didnt say they are alone in that either so no need to get pissy about it.
Anyway, according to Felix Magath, Barcelona have "no chance"....
Is that right....lets see, more big words from this lot.

Magath is a third party lol
But don't worry more comments from Hoeness and co will surely come. It's Bayern DNA to talk smack before a big game.

Re: FCB vs FCB
Schweinsteiger is the most in form midfielder in Europe this season. Xavi has also been going downhill since last season. With that said, Schweini would take Xavis spot but could also do Busquets' role. Either way, no team right now would bench him, even if it meant moving Iniesta to the forward line.

Re: FCB vs FCB
No, he would be rooted to the bench.
The question is, "at Barca" and at Barca thats exactly where he would be.
Iniesta has been moved to the forward line for Cesc already and yet again, it proved to be fail and now, Cesc is on the bench for the important games.
Same would happen to any and every midfielder you name, its just a fact.

Why should Schweinsteiger even think of playing anywhere at Barca? He's perfect at Bayern and Bayern certainly won't let him go
