I agree....although cant remember exactly others... and there must be many others...
For Barca, Alves was a great signing and really help us to the top level. Since then we have had good and bad ones

Re: Greatest transfer window by a club
I think Porto are stil laughing at the fact they got 15m or something for Paulo Ferreira.
Anyway, the summer of Edmilson, Deco, Guily, Etoo with Larsson and Albertini for free was a good one. The start of the turning point, some help for Ronaldinho.

Re: Greatest transfer window by a club
Depends really. I think a window where the cheap/free players go on to be vital for a team that wins trophies such as a major league is better a team splashing out a couple hundred Million to win the CL.
Big money signings don't guarantee anything but if you're somebody like City you don't need a strategy in the market. You can just throw silly money at clubs/players and end up winning the league. A retarded monkey could pick random expensive players and put together a winning team.
It's only an impressive transfer window if the club had to actually think about how much money they were paying.

At least you sign some players
Our transfer windows consist of extending contracts and getting players on loan
Although i have to say the Balo transfer really gave us a boost for the second half of the season
