Juve eye up Muriel

Juventus reportedly met with Luis Muriel’s agent this week in a bid to tempt the Udinese talent into joining them next season.

The Bianconeri have repeatedly been linked with an offer for Barcelona starlet Alexis Sanchez, but could be eyeing up his Friuli replacement instead.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Juve director Beppe Marotta met with agent Claudio Vagheggi at the Vinovo training ground on Friday.

The two clubs have already done several deals recently, including transfers for Kwadwo Asamoah, Mauricio Isla and Michele Pazienza.

Newspapers suggest Udinese want around €14m for Muriel, but that price-tag could be lowered considerably if some players were included in the deal for the Colombian.
